    Don't sweat the fast breaks.

Doesn't anybody else realize they're making the extra pass because they want to prove that they're not selfish?

That leads to what? 2 for 1?

Teams that execute 2 for 1 not only earn an extra possession, but momentum going in to the next quarter as well. What is the point of executing an offensive play when the opponents get a chance to score on the other end?

You should stop watching the play by play and watch the damn game.

Players are trying to be too unselfish after Rafer called them out last game. But the ball movement is certainly looking a lot better.

analysis: we're running our offense very well: 13 assists on 19 makes. we would have scored more if 6-7 of our shots didn't go in and out.

but we got the lead b/c of a much better defensive effort.

this home stretch will prove to be HUGE for this team.

beating your man off the dribble and getting into the middle of the paint is pretty high percentage. but there's a reason no play is a 100 percentage play and only high percentage, because sometimes even good things go wrong. this was a good play, the D had to gamble and reach in from behind, they got lucky and turned a usual foul into a steal. sometimes it happens.

and MFer, run a fastbreak people. artest somehow turns a layup into a slow jog that requires him to pass it off and then rafer gets blocked at the rim.

Looking at the boxscore, Tmac is 3-9 but LOOKS the best he has been all season imo.

    GIVE YAO the ball

I'd rather have Yao Force shots than some of the other rockets shooting.

The point of iso at the end is to

A)Leave no time on the clock if it under 24 seconds.

B)If it is around 30 seconds the point of it is to leave as little time as possible.

Bingo. That's exactly right. They're making the extra pass even when they don't need to.

    You point is laughable.

Extra points and momentum is what the 76ers got from the Rockets running your favorite play at the end of he 1st quarter.

That was a brain dead play by T-Mac. Didn't he read the scouting report? Who are the Sixers defensively? They're a team of shot blockers. How do you beat shot blockers? Force them to commit and then rotate the ball. Or do the Rockets not realize that that's exactly what the Sixers are trying to do with Yao.
