    bingo.

if luther's bad defense is often due to his size disadvantage, bonzi often times is just lazy on defense. his pt has been down lately and i don't think that's just because his shoulder injury. no wonder gundy had something with bonzi.

It is very lucky to lose this game.
Otherwise, Alston and Luthn Head would treat themselves as super-stars and then vanish at playoff.

    Rocket needs BIG CHANGES!

I didn't see the game, but why didn't Yao get more shots?

i want to agree. if i were les i'd probably go that way. but the team is not letting go of mcgrady right now. not this season. at least that's what they say and may have its merits.

agree to certain extent. yao has not gotten a lot of late 4th quarter chances in his career as it's always been mcgrady. he needs to grow in this area.

but sometimes you'd wonder what can a 7'6 center do if his guards and swingman can't get him the ball. like tonight, i believe he literally didn't touch the ball (after an 8-for-8 shooting for 3 qtrs) until very late in the 4th.

You may ask RA :) . Team ball VS Feel free to shoot. I agree with Team Ball but too much freedom is building up illusion for our PGs like 'Hi, I am God of Basketball'. It happend before in several wins we made. It happend again today. Just couldnt stand it.

Agreed, I do hope our guard, rafer, head or anybody have a bit of Nash's basketball IQ and sharp eyes could penetrate and find a open man...it's so painful to see Yao being body checked, fronted, and jamed, and our genious guard still act like idiot failed again and agin to give him the ball...painfull...hopeless

run some small pick&roll , let them double Yao, diving to the hoop for the gods sake...shoot the dame thing, yao still have change to grab the rebound and dunk it...

People while the offense did not play well. This is why we have lost the last two games...

Hornets: 29 pts on 11/22 (50%) with 4 off reb
    76ers: 39 pts on 12/22 (54 %) with 7 off reb

i honestly think majortity of the people on this board arent really rocket fans because even if the team was 5-30 i would still be watching every game and cheering on and i dont blame any one or two players for this loss it was just another bad 4th quarter that the rockets as a team have to deal with and move on from

If we weren't Rockets fans, why would we get so upset when we lose?

If we had played defense, especially transition defense without stupid fouls and with defensive rebounding, we could have won despite the TO's.

    Um, cuz TMac is out?

Agreed, he's bad as a SG when he can't hit shots. But he's way worse as a PG.

There is a serious question i always wanted to ask since day one of this season.

WHY STILL KEEPING THE SAME STARTING LINE UP. Even until the last game, the line up still the same, no changes at all.

Rox are playing offence basket ball, not defence basket ball like last year. You kept the defensive player together and expect them to play offensive ball.

    ...........................

Isn't it's time to change your starting line up

It seems as if AB, Landry and Scola have been very effective in the time they've played. In the last stretch before the 76ers game, the non-starters have arguably played better than the starters. Why we have the same starting line-up is a mystery to me too especially when one or two of them seem like marginal starters / likely bench warmers on most NBA teams.

Is our crowd horrible or what? Even when we were winning, the crowd was quiet and seats were empty.
