i disagree. They got easy lay-ups and offensive boards in the half court as well. Not to mention no transition d.

Did anyone notice that Rick Adelman is almost always
talking to his coaches during timeouts rather than giving
    his players game plans?

I have noticed that many times on TV this season.
    I thought that was strange.

But what can be worse than turning the ball over constantly and missing shots? You see what I mean? It would not hurt to try the other guys, because if they sucked its not like it wasn't happening before.

I guess when you give up 37 points in a quarter, you can't say anything good about the D in the 4th :)

Let's talks about something positive. Who are some decent early draft picks for next year?

Man, it's nice that Adelman had some trust in his starting guards and kept them out there for the entire fourth quarter.

They sure repaid that trust though, didn't they? It's got to go both ways. If someone trusts you then you have to step up. They didn't.

I'm still on the bandwagon ... that is ... the bandwagon to the lottery. Honestly chill, the fact that he is posting on here after a pretty disgusting loss would suggest he is not a bandwagon fan.

Courtside observations here. I'm not going to overreact completely but let me put a disclaimer on my statements by saying it's what I see as a whole night in and night out from this team. Not just these last two losses.

It's like beating a dead horse, but here it goes. Our guard play is laughable. I've said this all year and nothings changed. Rafer played good for about a 7 or 8 game stretch, but he's back doing all the things that make him a below average point guard in this league. His pick and role defense is atrocious and so is his defense in general. He's sloppy with the ball and he in my mind just isn't a leader.

Say what you want, but the guard play on this team won't win any playoff series against any elite team in the West. Just because we show flashes of being a good team, doesn't mean you can win a playoff series. The Rockets have proved that.

Andre Miller basically did what he wanted to do when he wanted to do it. There is just so much better guard play around the league then what the Rockets have. Our execution late in games is pretty much a joke. I can't understand why they don't realize the value of the basketball late in games.

I'm sure I'll generate all the flack from the supposed die hards on this board, but it's time to dismantle the core of this team. I would keep Yao, Scola, Broooks, and Landry. Go from there. Start putting better shooters and guard play around Yao and hope the team improves. Tmac won't help this team be any better than they are now. This is a 45 win team at best nothing more. I'd start going a different direction now.

One last thing, I'm very disappointed with Yao's game in the 4th quarter, he's been turning the ball over and missing key shots late in games. He better get alot tougher, "superstars" take over 4th quarters, that is supposed to be there time.

Rafear Alston was a bottom five point guard last year that recently has been on a massive hot streak. I dont kno when rafear started to make that tear drop. I'd say Andre Miller is probaly ranks 10-15 top pg in the leugue. he's nothing special just solid. Rafear still has very little value around the NBA and I dont think Adelman would be ready to bench or give him up because he runs the offence best out of all our PG's

At the clutch time, scola was open all the time, he keep on asking the ball but...... Everybody only look for Yoa who was boxed by 2 or 3 player in the pain. Nobody passed the ball to scola.

Hey, YAO have been boxed, he can't receive the ball, pass the ball to the open teammate. Be flexible....

If the ball had been passed to scola at that time, I think the result might be different. TRUST your teammate though, he is there, open with opponent guarding him, asking for the ball but no one passing to him.

Well, it's either we can't matchup or they can't match-up with them. That's called matchup issues.

I noticed that too, how weird! He just leave all the adjust thing to his players, even they keep making silly boneheaded decision. For RA, Timeout=cooling off only ?

you can be frustrated..you can even lose hope on the playoffs. If your are a rockets fan tho, you just dont stop watching the team when their losing. That differentiates a bandwagon fan, from a fan. Houston Rockets have several fans of these type..where say..A chicago cubs fan has several of the latter.
