My point is that alot of these people on this board jump on and off the bandwagon. Its annoying as hell.

Put it into perspective - ITS ONE GAME. there is another 40 games to go in the season. We could go 30 and 10 the rest of the way and make the playoffs easily or we could go 20 and 20 and miss the playoffs. My point is, if you're a real fan, just watch and enjoy the rest of the season. To all those people who posted stuff along the lines of "the rockets are done and i'm not watching another game this season - my reply is -fine... don't bother watching and don't bother posting" ;)

6ers isn't a good match-up for Rox, scrub team they may be.
Athletic, having tall penetrating guards, those are all the hallmarks of teams that can give Rox trouble. Tmac, or no Tmac.

I just don't understand why the hell the offense went so stagnant in the 4th. There was no ball movement. It was just trying to pound it into Yao. When he finally managed to get it, he had gone cold.

I agree I wasn't trying to put any blame at all on Yao. Just the r****ded game play in the 4th. We did the same thing every play....Try to get it in to Yao, Dont, and one of the guards chunks up a crappy shot with 2 seconds left on the clock.

I recall on time when Luther had the ball, and he couldn't get the ball to Yao. So he made a nice move and got by his man with a clear path to the hoop, but he steps back and takes a fade-away long 2 and bricks it. Then...On defense the very next play, there is a missed shot and one of the portland guards gets the bound. Luther was RIGHT NEXT TO HIM but didn't even make an attempt to jump or box out. It was ridiculous

Yeah. We only beat them by 50 last year. I was at that game. Rockets had a lot of trouble matching up.

Also, we were only up by double digits this game too.

Someone is going to post a link to post game comments later,
AD's comments: We just couldnt make a shot in the 4th quarter, we have to play better transition defense, we kept trying to get the ball to yao when he wasnt open....we have to swing the ball to the weakside and make their defense react......
Same thing he has been saying since day 1.....do something about it AD!!!
Sorry but this loss is just as bad as the blowout in philly....we're soft, yao doesnt even recognize his teammates anymore

Hurry TMAC.....Morey We need a guard!!! (andre miller aint a bad choice)

Lets agree to disagree. Just think how many coaches in the league would pull their start pointing guards (who have been playing well recently) in crunch time for a unproven rookie? I cant' seem to think of any.

Do you think Phil Jackson would pull D. FISh for Farmar even though Fish was having an off game in crunch time? It wasn't as if Brooks was tearing it up out there either.

exactly - t-mac is not the answer, smart coaching is. i mean for god's sake if they want a shooter in there and head is missing why not put novak in - at least he's bigger and may get a frigging rebound. when the sixers got the rebound and put back to go up by 4 it was the flashback of the boston game when ray allen got the crucial rebound around exactly same time left in the game - both times head just watched and completely forgot to box out.

The old man RA is getting gangbanged by their players thats why his voice is hoarsed. No wonder he was forced to play head.

We need ball movement to make the pass easier. In the last two games, we tried to force the passes into Yao without swingng the ball to the weak side or driving to the hoops.

I kno yao had a great game but that one play was pretty huge and it was on him. Andre Miller realy is not that good. hes not an upper tiet PG. Rafear has had a very good year and has contributed to our sucess without Tracy. he made some bonehead decescions but his contributions and positives far outweigh the negatives at this point. He and Luther did blow this game but the offence just doesnt run smoothily without skip. Luther is a different story

Luther Head = Great three Point shooter but crappy bball player

I wonder why Landry was sent off when he is doing really good job on the court, rebounding, fastbreak, cutting....

Poor rotation running keeps working man off

He should of done something in the 4th when the guards were sucking, instead, he was just sitting in his seat resting his head on his palm, with that blank stare into nowhere.
