I now doubt that Rockets can get into play off.

Their problems in the 4th quarters are personnel related, namely Rafer and Head. When TMac comes back, Rafer will still be there, making stupid mistakes at critical times.

Because there is no way Rockets will upgrade their PG, I don't see how they can make playoff.

On top of that, those 9 teams above Rockets are playing a lot better (except Denver in last two games).

Maybe just maybe, with TMac being back, this team can do a better job for the 4th quarter. But I won't hold my hope too high.

A really disappointing loss to Sixers tonight.

Nothing happen,Yao had a big third quarter, everything was working fine. What happen was rafer and head can't make entry passes, a turn over here and there the offense was thrown out of rythym. Yao was 8-8 in the 3rd quarter, the guards couldn't make passes, they turned the ball over and ran teh team sloppy.

What was up with the entry passes? I mean cmon its not that hard. If someone is fronting make them pay by reposting or with the backdoor. Luther Head cant make an entry pass to save his life. the first three quarters were great, solid basketball, but I just dont kno wat happened. Was is it mentally soft players, crappy gameplan, or do the Rockets just suck? This game made me a little sick inside. How does Samuel Dalmbert get that ball over Yao. Cmon Yao assert ur defensive authority or presence. I kno u had 5 fouls but u cant let a man go over u

Or someone who can make a ******* basket when we cant get it to Yao. And its not like Yao is going to make all of them. Even when we DID get it to him, he failed to score.

ai.....it's not supposed to be like this.........i had great dreams about this season....you know, 50-60 wins easily...top 3 seeds in the West, at least go to Conference champ series with our 2 superstars and finally some solid role players...

how did it all end up like this...20-19....i dont understand man....it was like yesterday we were still thinking rox gonna be a champ contender this year.....and it seems they can't even make the playoff this year..

Andre Miller is big powerful point guard who was a borderline allstar in this league. He would have owned aaron brooks in the paint. Though Rafer didnt' get the job done tonight, hes got it done the past 10 games. ITs called TRUST. You should try it sometime. I'm sure its a good morale builder as a coach to pull a guy thats been stepping it up lately in crunch time though there really isn't a better option on the bench. :(

People on this board are so fickle.... One game before, its all "wow, we're gonna win every game... we're better without TMAC blah blah blah"...

and the next its: "time to tank, we suck.... the season is over"

Look the Celtics just lost 3 of their last 4. I guess there season is over too? Have some faith.

Playoffs?? Not with this team. If we're losing entering the 4th, we'll almost certainly lose. If we're winning entering the 4th, there is a 50-50 chance we'll lose regardless of how big the lead is. Unless there is a change in rotation, there is no chance this team will go anywhere.

They couldn't stop any kind of offense in 4th quarter. Fast break points, dribble penetration etc. Worse, they couldn't get defensive rebounds when 76ers actually missed. Chuck Hayes are good at that.

I can understand sitting Hayes when we are down a bunch. But when we had the lead, Chuck should get some minutes in 4th quarter.

but after a freakin turnover, you don't let one guy just sprint down the court. you should be able to sprint and contend the layups. and even when we weren't turning the ball over, luther or alston would let their man go past them and without hayes, our help defense wasn't subpar either. our defense is horrible if we don't try. i think it was bonzi who would let young just go by him and catch the ball with no issue and lay it in. and it wasn't always off of turnovers, remember after brooks wonderful play, they just passed the ball once, and got an easy layup. that's just lazy defense, and sixers took advantage.

I no longer care if T-Mac comes back. Feel sorry for Yao and Scola. That's it.

This game was all on Alston and Head. Yao was 8 of 8 going into the fourth and the Rockets had run up their biggest lead when he was on the floor. He came out on a questionable fourth foul and everything went to Hell after that.

Look, Alston and Head did not deserve minutes in the fourth. It's that simple. The rookies have consistently played hard and never, ever given up. They deserved the minutes tonight, not the vets.

Alston and Head were all proved to be nobody in last season's playoff. There is no hope for playoff of this season if they are still in starters.

Adelman is one of the most stupid coaches in NBA.

First, without TMac, Rockets is not a playoff team.
Second, With TMac, Rockets is a playoff team, but a first round team.

why? compare your starting point guard with other 7 starting PGs at western conference playoffs. I like A. Brooks, RA should give him more minutes.

Dude, you're the biggest hater on this board. I dont' think you've ever had a single positive post about the Rockets period. If you really think Tmac makes this team worse , then you need to reevaluate your knowledge of basketball and come back after you learnt a thing or two.

I wouldnt jump off the bandwagon just yet. I still think with the core of Tracy and Yao and all the talent surounding the playoffs r not that far out of reach. I think the rockets r three games out right now. I think with the return of TMac will give the team a moral boost. Even though this game was atrousily bad; this is the same team that posted five straight wins and it was running the offence pretty well
