May? Our starters are an embarassment. Alston, Head, Battier and Hayes. Are you kidding me?? Could they start on any other NBA team?

With that no heart guy McLady, Rox would have trailed 30 pts at half time facing a team as strong as Sixers.

This Rockets team is the resemblance of China National Team. Both have Yao as their center and both cannot play against press defence.

I know T-Mac will not be traded but the Rockets will need to make some minor trade to bring a veteran guard that can play smart and not turn the ball over, and can make an entry pass to the big guys down low.

Games like this nearly kill me. I would rather play those JVG ugly basketball than play this non-defensive basketball. Adelman, what is your game plan? Do you have a consistent game plan or just "let the players play"?

Our defence sucked when chuck was not on court. Only at the beginning of the third quarter, we defended them pretty well and got the lead. Only lottery teams play like this...

If your two guards can't pass the ball or get it over the halfcourt line in under 8 seconds, then we won't be able to beat any scrub teams, ie the
    76ers.
In all honesty, while watching this game I kept thinking about the loss to the hornets.....except that the hornets had dalembert, miller, ai, and booth on their team.

What happened to motion offence? When Yao gets fronted, this offense is no different then JVG offence of trying, with futility, of trying to pound the ball inside to Yao for 20 secs, at best they get off a horrible shot with the remaining 4 seconds without turning the ball over!

Seriously folks, do you really in your heart of hearts see this team going anywhere? I mean, really. Even if by some miracle turnaround, they make the playoffs, are they really going to be competitive against any playoff team in the West? Good grief, Phillie has lost seven, count em, seven straight games. They come in here after a back to back.

I can't get past the Rocket's starting lineup. There is just not much talent on the floor. I still don't understand Adelman's substitution patterns. I still don't think this team knows what they are doing. They beat a few scrub teams, N.Y. twice, everybody gets excited. Now what? They are what they are, a very mediocre team. They don't have much fire, they are not clutch, they finish every period, half, or game without any sense of urgency. They are simply not very good. Is TMac, who has been chunking up tons of shots at a 30% clip during more games than I want to remember, going step right in and make a huge difference? Unlikely.

Alston did manage to hit 2 threes . Head made a couple in the beginning , Head's
fans came out early where did yall go towards the end of the game. If you going to make buckets make them in the clutch, not saying Alston is clutch but he made some baskets and thats not suppose to be his role

TMac can make these games worse. He just chucks, doesn't play D. If he isn't shooting well (which happens in half the games) we can't beat even the worst teams in the NBA.

true, he may have just sit himself out with another injury, but we just needed some offense...

i understand yao missing that last shot. he barely touched the ball, until that last shot.

this is what happens if you decide to play all offense and no defense. sooner or later, your offense will start falling and your screwed.

The Sixers are a tough matchup with the two Andre's as their strength at point and PF where we are weakest. They also have Sam to bang around.
I want to see us close out games, but I see things improving as Rick and Morey create rotation/chemistry/good personnel decisions.

Scola just looks better and better. When the game was on the line he was in there snatching tough boards.Dude has all around game to be sure.It was nice to see HIM finishing a game......time to start IMO.

The other thing is that Landry came in,played great and just exited stage left quickly.Rick needs to find the minutes for him.

some of the players on this team do not know their role.
When giving press conferences, they say the right things like, "we must establish yao down low..." we must feed the post"..."we must take wiser shots"; yet when in the game, they do the complete opposite.blahhh.
