Easy buddy. Though Brooks does provide a spark on offense, his defense is still a liability. Rafer is still the best option we got at this point. He had a bad game but dont' forget about the past 10 games or so.

Luther Head HOWeVER, is awful. We would have been better served if we sent the mascot out there for him.

Anybody that blames Yao tonight is a Yao hater. He did all he could and had a solid game all around. We all know hes not a clutch shooter at the end (But who would be with 3 guys swarming you and in your face).

Scola kept us in the game with his hustle.

We never would have lost this game if we replaced Tmac with Head. THats like the difference between a ferrari and a pontiac fiero from 1984.

 

Yao was tired and played like crap in the 4th quarter, he let Dalembert take him over LMAO.

WTF????

 

You know what...I don't wanna hear a damn thing any of these players have to say any more. What are they gonna say after this loss they we haven't heard time and time again already. Yao calling the team soft. Heard it. We need to be able to close out games. Been there. We're still trying to find ourselves. Uh huh. We need to play better defense, more intensity, turn the ball over less, play four quarters and not three. Blah, blah, blah. I don't want to hear it anymore. And I don't want to see this s**t anymore. By s**t I mean a complete lack of fundamental basketball at the most critical of times.

And another thing, I DO NOT want to see this team in those championship jerseys EVER AGAIN until they actually EARN the right to wear them.

 

Problem is not offense, it's defense. Scola, Alston, Head, AB and Bonzi all have big problems on defense. Hayes should have played in 4th quarter.

 

yea people who say we are better without him are indeed wrong. However, I think we got blown out by philly with t-mac, so this game may not be the best example.

 

this disgusting loss is thoroughly and completely on the coach - why the hell is Head in the game when he's not making shots????? He can't defend, can't box out, can't pass - if he misses 2 shots in a row in the 4th, take him out of the fame pleeeeese!!!! And can someone be brave enought to make a play when Yao can't get the ball? Like what AB did?????? This is so frustrating that I'll have stop watching. This season is gone - better get Yao ready for the Olympic games.

At least T-Mac comes back. But I still think we need someone like Steve Francis in the rotation that doesn't fold under pressure. We lack balls.

 

As I said N times before, this team needs Tmac. Role players are role players because they are not consistent; otherwise, they would be stars. Without Tmac, the rockets winning straigt won't last long. I hope he can come back next game.

yao... great job for the first 3 quarters.

battier, hayes, and scola did what they usually do, but not enough to help us.

we need some fire power when the opponents make a run. we had so much fire in the 2nd quarter led by yao, all of a sudden in the 4th quarter, we just stayed quite with a frown.

this team needs tracy or francis or somebody that shows their heart.

 

Rockets need to, must tank this season because they don't have what it takes to win.

No contending team gets taken at home by a sub-par Eastern team. One playing for a lottery pick.

Losing a 11 point lead starting the 4th at home is not a good team. The coach is at fault for letting 5 layup scores happen (lose the lead) before even calling a timeout and doing anything.

His "style" of letting players figure it out is not working. Not in crutch time. That's 2 games in a roll with leads in the 4th and they blow it.

New Orleans is a good team but not the 76er. This is also unfortnately the truth about Yao. He's my favorite player but he is NOT, NOT clutch. He is not the go to guy in the 4th. If I need 1 basket to save my life I wouldn't let him shot it.

That's 8 for 8 before the 4th and how many did he miss then? And the fact that there was 2 or more turnovers by others trying to get him the ball. Pathetic.

Battier passed into the defender's hands. Nuts.

 

Alston and Head are not worthy of being starters. If this is Coach A's game plan then no playoffs. Yoa must exert himself and stop encouraging the scrubs to take so many shots.
The Coaching staff need to teach Rafer and Head how to pass the ball into Yao Ming. Yao is the decission maker!!

 

TAKE luthur OUT in the 4th quarter, period.

 

Look at the last 3 shot by Rafer, you will know why coach want they to pass the ball to your center.....

Our dum. TO on 4th q are unbelivable and no excuse.
How to use yao's time and when yao not on the court we can not let them run so many?

Landry should play more and AB also.
Head played first half good second half is really bad.

TOs on 4th q killed us.

It is a easy win otherwise.

In games when Brooks and Landry play, we win. Brooks can handle the ball and kills the team the fronts Yao. He just drive around his man and Yao's man is out of position. NOBODY else on our team can do that.
