ClutchFans Game Thread: Sixers @ Rockets 1/15/2008

The Rockets have some serious issues. It might get worse before it gets better. We need some more live bodies, because we just got ran off the court. They just started playing street ball on us.

 

Rafer and Head cannot make a damn entry pass in the whole 4th quarter. Yao couldn't even catch the ball and suddenly he was fed in the last minute and you know what would happen: Yao the unclutch with cold hands would not make that shot.

I can't believe nobody can make the damn entry pass even after JVG era!

 

Instead of forcing it into Yao we should have let Scola get some iso's, at least a couple plays considering all the hustle and heart he displayed tonight. Overall just a horrible 4th quarter...

 

we took all that time 10 or more minutes and it cost all those turnovers trying to get Ming the ball and when he does get the ball he can't score,

Why again do we try to get him the ball if he can't even make the clutch shots??????????????????????????

This is a joke, our offence grinded to a hault trying to get him the ball causing all those turnovers and points for the other team and when he gets the ball he misses badly.

A Yao centric offense does not work when the C has no mobility to get post position down low at the end of the game when he can get easily fronted.

A rather have the bench players in there trying to get the offense moving than a stangant C that bogs down the offense for ten minutes in crucial time.

 

.500 here we come. I thought this was the soft part of the schedule. I don't expect us to come out above .500 after performances like this.

As unbelievable as it seems, we are fodder for the lottery. Other than our rookies, there are no bright spots. Seriously sad and pathetic loss.

I don't think it was Yao's fault....the freaking guards can't get him the ball....both RA's sucked

 

why luther head screw all the freaking idiots...i can blame alston, head, shane.....alll freakin idiots...up 17 and start playing one on one ball and turning over like idiots and not once trying to go to yao..

then realizing they're in a hole they force it to yao and turn it over trying to get it to him.......EFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF the rockets tonite they deserver to lose that game and its the guards fault

The Rockets just gave up 37 points in one quarter. Are you positive that the Rockets will even make the playoffs?

 

Seriously... Stop believing in miracles and trades some of those pathetic players. At least to have something new to watch. Oh, and of course kick RA's ass ASAP!

 

We're not making the playoffs. We'll just barely miss it, getting the 14th pick in the draft. Games like these (and NO) really show that we have no place in the postseason. We can't even close games like this that are meaningless to the opponents.

Rafer alston was hating on aaron brooks, he yelled at him and we were up by like 10 points,For nothing and I seen the hate.Rafer is worried about his position being taken, the wins and team is second.

 

Who cares about playoffs? I really don't. This team is not set to make a run right now. Our players are so dumb during the clutch times. Playoffs are full of clutch moments.
