Um. The offense was the same. The only difference is the ball didnt go in. And some of the backdoor cuts were better contested(and thus a pass couldn't be made). Ball movement doesnt look so good when the shots dont go in.

ummm no the ball movement sucked... take the last couple possessions for a good example, no one was cutting it was just throw the ball down to Yao and stand around. Everyone around me at the game was yellin for people to cut.

I would like a win. Last time, we lost . It's hard to swallow. It's time to pay back.

I am expecting a easy win. If we could, I would be happier to see Carl Landry on the floor. Give AB ans Scola a bit more time.

Is this gonna be the beginning of a winning streak?

Suprs, we are ready and waiting for you.

I'd disagree. I think there were too many quick, contested shots from the guards (specifically Head and Alston, I think Brooks did a better job) and a lack of movement away from the ball. I also think that the team regressed a bit in leaning too heavily on Yao--look at the stats not only for points but shots attempted. Yao's FGA is up for that game and everyone else's is down. No balance, which is what Adelman's offense is supposed to be all about. The kind of lopsided scoring where Yao has a big night and everybody else doesn't is something we've seen in the past, and it usually leads to a loss.

Recently I've been thinking that the Rockets may be a better team when Yao gets double teamed. He's completely willing to kick the ball back out and the open looks really get his teammates involved and rolling on both ends of the floor. It will be interesting to see how many teams reach the same conclusion and stop doubling him.

The reason the ball didn't move as well was because we were playing a team that plays better defense. Some of those passing lanes, backdoor cuts, etc. weren't there like they were against crappy teams like Knicks, Wolves etc.

The Sixers can put together some early good quarters but rarely for 4 full quarters. The Sixers' engine is Andre Miller. Slow Andre Miller down, the Sixers are basically done. Make a run on the Sixers when Andre Miller rests.

Never underestimate the heart of chump that looking for a win in their losing streak. However, Yao will overwhelm the Sixers.

    A Rockets win.

    105-85

    Go Rockets!

This will be an easy win because if you remmebered last time, Kyle Korver crushed us. Too bad he is in Utah now!!

If we lose this one I will be too disgusted to come to the board or read about the Rockets for a while. The Rockets ought to make sure they rip the Sixers' guts out. Kill, Rockets, kill!

We must win the rebounding contest and reduce turnover if we were to beat the 76ers

If they lose this one, the team will solidify its ".500" status. That must not happen. Actually, a very important game. Psychologically, a loss tonight could be devastating. It is almost the mid-point of the season. Face it, it is unlikely they are going to beat the Spurs. TMac will be back, but not by much. Maybe a few minutes. This one is a must.

I don't think the reintegration of T-Mac will be smooth. Actually, I'd rather not have him come back against the Spurs, but wait for a weaker team. The offense will be discombobulated his first couple games back.

the 76ers lost to the spurs by a mere 7pts. so i imagine this won't be a cake walk, especially when mcgrady is not in playing.

revenge is one thing, playing with poise is another.

prediction rockets win by 9. 95-86

A big win by 20 points to let them pay back! And we also have to win to meet the playoff. :D
