i dont think andrew wiggins was good or even OK for minny.. sure hes put some fans into seats but competing wise he held them back for a better part of the last decade.....lolololol what a fraud he was....

i see that same scenario playing out with jalen green here...hell be showing us some fantastic flashes for years and get the supermax....but it will lead nowhere....i dont think hes a good bb player... hes just an athletic freak...and that is all...

not gonna say hope i am wrong because perhaps its good for that which is acquired by tanking to go to waste....

 

do you trust these people?

me personally, I would hesitate to entrust them with a job of taking care of my cats for 2 hours, let alone an NBA basketball team full of young and talented players...

Somebody please remind Coach Silas that this lineup went 1-16. Enough is enough, coach. Twin tower is never going to work.

 

This game was a wrap as soon as I saw the starting lineup. Insanity is doing the same things over and over again expecting different results. Its unfortunate to see Scooter languish. He's hurting and is having issues coping with difficulty. Best thing may be to have him come off the bench for a little while. CWood is a disgrace. Makes me sick to watch him just going through the motions taking the paths of least resistance. Top 3 pick here we come.

 

Wood is the problem with this team. His inability to play defense against virtually any center in the league and the inability to set a pick is what is holding our young players back, not their minutes on the floor. I rue the day we let Capella go. A center like Capella or Ayton would absolutely unleash KPJ, Green, Matthews, and Christopher. We would still be bad this year with a Sengun/Theis rotation at center, but the progression of our young wings would be much more apparent.

Silas is a crap head coach, but he really had no choice but to play Theis against Embid. What he seemed to finally figure out was that we should have swarmed him every time he got the ball, 3 Ptrs be damned. Embid would eventually get frustrated and there would be a chance that the Sixers would have clanked a few.

Everyone in the league sees what we see in Wood, so we might as well unload him now for the low FRP or Second rounders we are going to get. Then, even though we will keep getting blown out on a regular basis, we will see if KPJ and Green are a viable backcourt going forward.

Here’s to hoping Sengun grows a couple inches and puts on 20 lbs of upper body strength in the off-season. Otherwise, we absolutely are going to have to find a defensive minded PF whether he can shoot or not.

 

Man. We stink. Like I know Philly is better, but still depressing for us to just get blown out game after game. The KPJ and Green combo needs to be a lot better. And for ****s sake, shoot the ball more Green!

last year’s Rockets had a fake 6 game win streak, and this year we had a fake 7 game win streak, and aside from that have been worst team of all time level bad both seasons…the similarities are crazy
