I also believe James shoots too much. He did scored a lot, but he didn't create enough shots for teammates. Sura did a much better job on that. In games James starts, the offense for Howard, Wesley and Yao all suffered. That makes other team easier to double Tmac.

But that is the problem: I DON'T want him to be traded! I love the guy, I desperately want it to work for him and T-Mac, but it hasn't so far, and everytime the Rockets make real strides, Yao's name does not seem to come up very much. I mean the new player we just traded for is BY FAR the second best player on the team now! He is the one, along with the Barrys and Wesleys and Dekes, that is keeping us in the game! Guys, understand this: we would NOT even be in a single one of those games (except for Chicago one) without MJ, that is a really sad statement:(

Sura, hurry back buddy, I love you man, we need your toughness and non-passing to Yao unless he is in a PERFECT position to make the shot, your tough-love for Yao seems to be the only thing working. Your discipline is needed for this team to be successful.

However, I am starting to question if Steve and Cat were ever the problem, and if the REAL problem was Yao's inability/unwillingness to become THE MAN.

Yah well, we live to fight another day...

What a sad, pathetic, awful, heartless, gutless, clueless, horrible, uninspired, unmotivated, disinterested, and completely disgusting performance for "All Star" Yao Ming. I would be so embarassed that I would skip the locker room and get a cab to the hotel. That was a colossal bust of a game for a soon to be (maybe not) max. player. I have been one of your biggest fans, but, Yao Ming, you are the reason the Rockets lost this game. This one is on you. P.S. please learn how to catch a pass and how to hold on to a basketball. This is called fundamentals.

The guy has been here for three games, and he is the one that needs to figure out his role?

My question to you is this: Has Yao figured out who he is in this team?

A side note, Yao never played too good when Matt Boland is one of the refs. He's affected by outside factor too much. His mental toughness is really a problem.

I don't think the Kings would do this, but I would package Yao with someone else for Peja and Brad Miller if possible. Although I think the Odom trade is still feasible, I think the Rockets should open up all the channels to see if they can get as much for Yao as possible. I've watched the Rockets a long time. I'd like to think I'm speaking objectively.

The problem Yao rarely comes back after a bad start. Now he did have some big 2nd half. But he is just not a guy that believes that he should be the one to shoulder this team. Like you say, it's crazy not to pass to the biggest mismatch, but why. I think even JVG realizes Yao just cant be the 1st option down the strech. Until we solve that problem, we wont be good. Unless we got a closer like Kobe(not knock on Tmac, but closing games, Kobe is in his own league).

EXACTLY. sad but true. Just like when TMac showed up it took him a while, maybe, just maybe, he'll figure it out.

I think everyone loves Yao. Who doesn't like that tall, goofy guy. However, there must be a strong separation between the affinity for a player and the affinity for the team.

All right, Why we have a 8-win streak even T-Mac sucks most of the game. Because of Yao. Why we lost to Jazz and Wizard. Also becasue of Yao. I do not want to blame any comments here because Yao deserve this tonight. My point is that if Rockets want to win more games, we desperately need Yao involved into the game early. Otherwise, just depends on the outside shooters, I would expect more losing games coming.
