Is it just me, or does it ALWAYS seem like every game we make a run or something, Yao is not on the court? :(

I hope it is just my imagination, but the Bulls game, the Wizards game tonight, and countless others have shown that so far. I think the team as a WHOLE plays faster, better, with more energy, and with less errors when Yao is not on the floor.

What a sad, sad scenario that keeps repeating itself.

And no, the answer is never to trade him away, because that is not feasible. The answer is to ride his ass hard and make him cry like a wimp until he toughens up INSIDE first, and then he will toughen up on the outside. Yao desperately needs a boot camp!

I've said before that I hopped off the fire JVG bandwagon because I have made the conclusion that it is Yao who does not fit JVG's system. I think it is best for this season to come to a close and trade Yao. I no longer care what team he gets traded to. Just try to get some value in return. The only problem is that Yao is a cash cow. He's a cash cow, and cash cows don't get traded.

He took some quick shots before defense sets, which probably disgust JVG. But MJ was the reason we got back, so layoff his back for this one. Had Yao been Yao wit dick, we could cruise crontrol this one in the end. When he is tentative out there, dont expect teammates to trust him with the ball, when we dont look for Yao we are preimeter team putting too much on Mac and this is when things go wrong for us. So Yao is the key.

Deke is still better than Yao on defense, and he gets respect from refs. Right now Yao's offensive role is becoming smaller, so Deke looks better on this team.

I watched all three games since MJ joined Rockets. I think he shot too much. He should be the one realize who he is in this team.

Yall guys are crazy. How many big men are putting up the #'s that Yao is? Shaq, Amare if you count him as a C, and Z. Thats it. All other fans would love to Yao have on their team. Cuz 90% of the teams have pure crap at the C position. If putting up 18 points a game and 8 boards is worthy of losing your job than shoot everybody on the team should worry about whos behind them other than T-Mac.

Yao is the 2nd best player on this team it's gonna be like that for a long long time. So if your not down with that you probaly should find another team to watch because thats the way is set up.

Why do you think T-Mac wanted to come to Houston? You have to atleast give Yao props that for that. If Yao sucked liked you all say than we would still be watching dribble mania with Franchise and Co. Instead we have one of the best inside out combo's in recent memory to watch and we have high expectations for rockets basketball again. Be grateful.

Deke, Barry, and MJ got us back. Yao should get an earful tonight from jvg.

Yao reminds me of that guy in full metal jacket who just can't get on teh same page as everyone. Maybe he needs some special stimulations :)

Yeah whatever. It's obvious you root for a player through to the end even if that player is an anchor to a rising ship.

So we are comparing Yao with crap now. Way to go. Let's just be happy Yao's a notch above the craps.

Yao wasn't even the 5th best player on the court tonight.

Some of you guys are amazing... but that's all I'm going to say.

Yao is inconsistent... we've all known that since his first year here... the only solace we can take is that his "down" times this year have been MUCH FEWER than any of the previous 2 years.

You may think he's "regressed" from last year, but in reality... he just hasn't improved as much from year 2 to 3, that he did from 1 to 2.

Thankfully, a lot of you guys were the same people ready to trade Sura, and calling for JVG/CD's heads when they let Boki go... so I'm confident that your "assesments" are going to be made with no hard thought what-so-ever.

JVG shouldn't have let Yao back in the game tonight. We played much better with his sorry ass on the bench.

MJ will prove to be a real asset for this team. I can't wait till Sura gets back into the lineup.

Can't agree with you too much! Watched Spurs vs Cavalier the day before yesterday. TD missed first 7 shots but after that hit 8 out of 9.
If yao missed first 7, he wont get the ball the whole night. I know TD much better than Yao, but they have the similar roles to their teams.

If that happens, watch the Rockets go on another losing streak.

Well, if he is not happy here, he has choice come summer time. Now all of you hate Yao so much after this one, do you want to give up Yao for Odom like Charvo suggested. Me not.
