if we contain arenas to 20-25 pts, we win..if he goes off, we could be in trouble..yesterday was like a HS game so it doesn't count as back to back...
    Rockets win
    112-98

I am impressed with the Wizards squad, they have speed and athleticism. Surprises me that their record isn't better. But while the Rox are neither fast or athletic, they are a shut down defensive team especially in the paint and have proven they can win against more athletic squads. The Wiz are coming of a back to back and their starters played more minutes than ours so thats our edge also. Rox win 98-92.

Since both teams played I see this game being very close and very sloppy.

But the Rockets eekk out an ugly win.

I think the rockets had of a less of a travel to washington than the wiz did last night which is an advantage. but i would have givin the wiz the advantage if they didnt play last night but they did and got their first road win of the season. maybe they will come out not focused because they finally got that monkey off their back.

tmac has to carry us this game i have a bad feeling that yao will be screwed and play very limited minutes with foul trouble. hopefully he tries to break his career high again against the wiz.

that being said I look at rockets 95 wiz 102

sorry i just think the wiz are just a whole different monster at home, hopefully i am wrong though

I will be behind enemy lines this game and try to see what makes the Wizards that much better at home vs. on the road.

It's comforting that both teams are on back-to-back games instead of just the Rockets.

Plus, the Wizards main 3 played pretty decent minutes last night and had to play throughout because it was a close game unlike T-Mac who played only 27 minutes in a blowout.

A mental test again for the Rockets as JVG puts it. I like our Chemistry last night I hope this continues to improve every night.

I say a Rockets win by 6 points.

Tmac continues his roll on the road goes for 20+. Yao as usual dominates the bigs.

    Head hits 3 3pointers.

    Rockets win.

Areanas goes for 30+ in the loss.

Wizards only have one win on the road.

Rockets should win with their newly found home court advantage.

    Go Red Rowdies!!!

This game depends on how well #0 will play. We should get an early lead cus the Wiz, namely Arenas, is very capable of exploding on our defense and go on a mad scoring spree.

I can see us get a lead through 3 quarters only to watch it being shattered by Arenas' 3's late in the 4th.. especially this being a home game for him.

We need Yao to be on his defensive best tonight to shut down the paint so the rest can concentrate on shutting down Arenas.. at least in the 4th.

I doubt we'll see much of VSpan tonight.. he's a foul machine if he has to guard Arenas. Don't think Skip nor Head can guard him either..

And of course.. Rox win, but barely :)

Have you noticed that Yao is not getting into nearly as much foul trouble as in the past? Several times  last night, Yao could have been called for fouls (would have been in the past), but wasn't. Is he finally getting some respect from the officials? And if so, why only on the defensive end?

I think Yao is slowly getting the respect he deserves. With all the MVP and best center talk, the officials have no choice but to start giving him a LITTLE, just a little superstar treatment. Also, if the officials give him all the calls on the offensive end, Yao would shoot 20 fts a game, and drop 40+ pts every night. He would probably get more calls than dwade if he was officiated correctly. The officials wont let this happen because the league is trying to market superstar perimeter players like LBJ, dwade, kobe.

I would give the ball to Yao, then back to Yao, and then to Yao again. They cannot stop him. Chemistry is developing before our eyes; slow down Arenas and Rockets win.
