How did Lin have a poor defensive performance holding Wall to 8-22 shooting?

 

LOL, John Wall ruined the momentum when he shot the 3 and airballed it. From then on, the Rockets took advantage of it. have no idea why he didn't continue to drive to the paint when Lin had 4 FREAKING FOULS and you're up by 4!!!!

No one is saying he had a poor defensive performance, everyone is just saying he got raped by Wall for most of the 4th quarter. He couldn't stop him from driving at will and dishing out assists as well as finishing.

Other than those terrible 10 minutes, he handled him pretty well I'd say.

 

I don't hate anyone because hate is to deep of an emotion.I've praised lin infact in this very same thread, but when he was getting out worked by wall just like Haden and Dight were sucking I called them out. You folks have lins balls up you're heads that you cant see anything.

 

Apparently Marcin Gortat's daddy. Gortat getting 4 fouls was the worst thing that ever happened to the Rockets even though it seemed good at the time lol

 

Two young teams acting stupid at each other. The Rockets lulled themselves to sleep and stopped moving the ball after building their huge lead, and the Wizards took some really dumb shots after making their comeback. I guess the Rockets winning means their talent was sufficient to overcome their stupidity.

 

Dwight's post game is like Lin's 3pt shot. It's much improved and can look good at times even though something about it looks awkward, not natural. It's not something I want to count on when the pressure is on and the game is on the line. His horrendous FT shooting also does not help when throwing it in the post during crunch time.

 

Lin was +18, not +28. Here's the story of the 4th quarter on offense. Lin isn't in here much:

I know that's rough for the LOF to read, but unfortunately for them, Harden played well down the stretch and the Rockets won.

Jlin did what he supposed to do up until the 3rd quarter, and when he got subed out, we basically blew up the lead..Funny is that all eyes on Jeremys fault, how about horrible fts by howard? demanding post that never leads to easy bucket? How about james iso? How about brooks who acts like MJ? My gawd, i hope Lin move to other team...Theres no love for him here in Houston...

 

That's how it goes here lol. Couple of good quarters and you are a BOSS we are blessed by God to have. Couple of sucky quarters and you are a scrub and all that ails this team.

Exactly. Wall is too much of an athlete for Brooks and would have scored 30+ if it wasn't for Lin. Those 2 have been a good matchup dating back to their summer camp days.

 

Damn dude, you did it again. Another laugh because that is truly an insult. Poor man's Mike D'Antoni would have also done it for me.

 

I think you're using the term rape a little too loosely there my friend.

 

Sorry, Lin was severely outplayed by Wall in the 4th quarter.

 

Too bad we couldn't have seen Canaan in the game.
If we blew them out we might have seen Canaan with maybe 4 minutes in the game.

 

I loved Dwight persistence to keep fighting in the last few minutes eventhough he was struggling. He grabbed a big offensive board and was still good on a few poessins.
