John Wall scores 50. Harden gets 39 quietly. Howard gets 4 touches all game. Garcia sucks again. Lin gets 12/4/4 but sucks ass again. NayNay gets 16 on 75% shooting.

nothing has come easy to the Rockets this year unlike last year remember the 23 3s against the GSW? this year even the worst teams can defeat the Rockets, feel like theyre a worse "team" than last year because maybe the desperation isnt there or just they cant shoot. i think last year ball movement was more fluid and had the Rockets not taken on OKC they may have lasted till the 2nd round.

Wizards are a jumpshooting basketball team meaning the rockets will have trouble

    Hey y'all - Don't get smug.
    (Especially after last night)

    That's a tough game tonight!

    Still - I feel a W coming. (And last night I didn't)

A bold prediction: Casspi will get Cisco's minutes as 3,
and will have his first 20+ point game in hid Rockets era tonight, with 4/6 from the 3.

    (I hope)

    A thought for follow up:

I'm a Casspi fan, by I'm not fooling myself - Omri is not a starter on this team, nor should he be.
He is a rotation role player - probably our 8th player in the hierarchy
(or 7th, depends if you still count Asik as an active Rocket... :()

This means that, with Parsons, Beverly and Asik out - He is our 5th player, isn't that right?
    (A simple count-down)

Also, I think it's safe to say that right now Omri is our 1st option off the bench for positions 3 & 4.
(Of all other options - Cisco, DMo, Brewer - none performed better so far).

    \/

So how come every time we miss our star/starter SF, we go to Garcia or Brewer as starters?
And worse yet - How come that in such a short-handed situation (last night)
Casspi gets the least minutes he has ever seen since he became a Rocket?

    Anyone?

That 3 would have tied the game with about 6 seconds left, so no it would not have won us the game. That would have left them enough time to get a solid shot, and we can't even guarantee we would would have won in OT. It did help stop any chance of a victory though.

Fans' confidence in the team is at all time low :(.

    Who can guard John Wall?

The Wizards scored only 66 points last night. Let's not play down to their level.

We scored only 80 points last night. From a 105 avg that's on the fast track to 66.

This is the one game I go to every year. This is the least excited I've been to see the team ever.

    Hoping for a Chandler miracle.

Remember too. Careless TOs and poor rebounding did us in. Better rebounding this year, but we're always capable of failure.

Yeah, against the best defense in the league. They are ordinarily a 100+ pt. scoring team, so I wouldn't read much into that.

Wizards average 97.5ppg, but they're a top 3PT% team. Expect us to get lit from 3 tonight and 100+ total points.
