We arent talking titles we are talking 2 way complete basketball play. He said Harden is borderline which is code for saying he isnt there defensively, not sure whats hard to understand about that it isnt a knock its the truth.

I wouldn't trade Harden for either Lebron or Curry. Lebron will be 31 next season and is on physical decline and Curry had in the past serious chronic injuries.
But I believe Harden is only entering his prime and will get better.

I would trade all the Rockets team and 30 future first round picks for Davis.

To me his defense is top notch so i have to give him props hes the only true superstar PG this year in my opinion. I guess curry will be labeled one from here on out though

this goes back to what i was saying. need to make the most out of every chance while you are in it.

a lot ppls say harden is still young, and we will get better. true, but guess what,,, other teams can and will get better, too. with davis, new orleans is clearly one of the new threats rising on the horizon. and 6 yrs in ,harden isnt really that young. part of the reason it hurts a little that our season just ended on a sour note...

Even at 31 id still take lebron over Harden for the next 4 seasons.

and Curry is? He's bad defensively but GS is able to hide him due to their defensive sheme. He's not two way player.

He included Curry, so clearly defense doesn't matter much to him

    yup, agreed.

paul's defense has always been really good imo. as to curry, idk. but he sure gets quite some steals, and the media certainly can use that as "proof"...

4?? no way. Not with HGH testing next season. No when Lebron is one of the best athletic beasts and not with the already physical decline.

I Imagine some years ago people would say the same for Kobe. Players decline athletically and they decline fast.
I believe there is much more to come from James Harden.

I don't like Melo much either, but there's a reason he's getting paid like a superstar... His list of individual career achievements are pretty damn impressive and while he's definitely passed his prime, leading the NBA in scoring for a season, along with multiple NBA awards/Olympic medals definitely means he's a someone. Hell, he got his team to the WCF and was definitely playing like a superstar in 09...

We need a true back up center to Dwight that can also play power forward because there were WAY TOO MANY layups by the Warriors on Dwight's blindside as he went to block shots or protect one side of the rim. DMO going down at the very end of the season came back to bite the Rockets. Anyways, hats off to them this season and looking forward to seeing what Morey has up his sleeve..this team will only get better...especially with a pure point guard so Harden doesn't have to carry that load in addition to everything else for this team.

You realize Houston is one of the best spots in the country for that "hip-hop lifestyle" right? As long as the strip clubs are here and the rappers continue to throw parties here, Harden ain't leaving.

Hard to tell just yet with Curry i think. He may very well be a good 2 way player like you said he buys into his teams scheme and doesnt let himself become a liability.

for basketball fans like us in this forum Carmelo is done and is certainly not a superstar.
For casual people who only watch basketball once in a blue moon Carmello is a superstar.
It's about fame not ability. But that's what superstar means.
    In my opinion.

Lmao if you think HGH testing is really gonna affect lebron. He is not declining nearly as fast as you think and these playoffs prove that.

In my opinion Curry has already bought and is held back by physical ability.
Harden is the opposite. He has't bought in defensively. He has all the ability in the world to be a good defender.
That's why I believe he is only entering his prime.
Losses like this hurt but are precious. As was the video last year. They teach.
