Well. First and foremost.

THANK you Houston Rockets for a great season and a great memory coming back from 3-1.

That said. Please take the off season to take inventory of yourself. What do you put first. Personal life bull***** or your professional career. Because tonight I honestly could not tell. when you are in season you are paid millions to go out and entertain. This is a city of millions dying or a title. We have waited so long. We deserve a real effort, not some hungover half ass f*** the fans effort we saw tonight. How do you want to be defined? One of the greats?? Or do you want to be defined as just some other meat sock that had what it took but never rose to your potential.

 

Harden is fool's gold....

Hopefully not a total liability in elimination games...

 

Last year, Rockets were dumb and soft. This year, Rockets were dumb but tough. Next year, Rockets need to be smart AND tough. All we can hope for is continued improvement.

 

What do we do now?

 

Like playing defense. The problem with being a one way player like Harden is that when the shots don't fall, you don't have good man on defense to cover yourself.

Jordan had bad games (albeit not 12 turnover games) but he was a gutsy defender and if he wasn't making shots, neither was whoever he was guarding.

 

Not a good game when Harden has as many turnovers as free throw attempts.

 

the only way we could have played worse was if dwight shot 1-13 from the free throw line

 

****! Bought game 6 tickets for nothing!

 

The reason we are really here is because Josh Smith and Corey Brewer and Dwight Howard played like madmen in Game 6 against the Clippers.
All while Harden sat on the bench.

 

Harden is so inconsistent. It's baffling.

 

Remember- Kobe's 4 airballs in 1999

Remember- Lebron laying an egg in 2011

Remember- Dirk getting swept by these same GSWers in the first round

Remember- Shaq getting swept in 1995.

Champion players sometimes have to go through this. Harden's young- he'll learn and come back stronger. He tried to do too much himself and their defense was ready for it- give them credit. The Pistons gave Jordan fits, too- and he learned to trust his teammates, thus 1991.

Not worried about him at all. He'll continue to get better with his all-around team game. They just can't look at this as "this was our golden opportunity." They have to believe they can reach the WCF, NBA Finals, and win it all for the next 5-6 season in Harden's prime, and they can certainly do it.

 

It was a good season. Rockets showed a lot of heart down the stretch. I think they need more consistency from their bench. Harden has shown he's the guy to build around. Need a few more pieces and we can win it.

 

WE NEED A TRUE POINT GUARD. PERIOD! WE'RE ASKING HARDEN TO BE THE POINT GUARD AND SCORE 30 POINTS A NIGHT. SHOULDA SEEN SOMETHING LIKE THIS COMING..DAMN.

See, when you're a supposed MVP candidate, you don't get to play the 'I'm excused for playing like a r****d in a close out game because I played well in other games.'

If you get the accolades, you get the responsibility.
