after the marc davis assignment, kerr's strategy was to force the drive (as he should have), knowing that davis would ignore contact in the paint. HOU ended up with just 13 FT attempts. i noticed both pringles and ariza made mention afterwards that it's good we didn't play heavy minutes and kill ourselves just to lose by 2 in the end, and now we're fresh for game 4. maybe that was HOU strategy from before even tipoff?

Well the disease only last 2-3 games now. Could be even 4.

Wow, blown layup after blown layup, no fouls being called on drives at all, harden still trying to draw fouls despite this, and the stupid storylines that the media tries to milk. Not to mention that the warriors C-team purposely tried to drive up the score to be a 40 pt blow out lol.

If the refs are refusing to call contact on any form of hand-checking anymore, and are swallowing their whistle on the ball handler initiating contact, then harden needs to really just say "eff it" and go all the more into their body and actually try to finish instead of trying to get the foul calls. Even though they are, the refs aren't calling it, and they probably wont ... which sucks because the warriors pushoffs/aggression happen when they're moving off ball, so whereas harden would be called for a charge for that kind of stuff, curry can go ham throwing people off of him.

Regardless, I'm not hopeless for game 4, it's just that we have to find a way to not lose our confidence and expecting to destroy steph. Stick with the formula ... understand that he only went off when they had a 15 pt lead and a large cushion overall. Attack him, do all that you can to nullify him, and try to bait them into KD isos, helping off draymond and iggy. The very beginning of the game had ariza slipping the screens and finding a lot of success with draymond sticking to clint as someone already pointed out. Maybe we should try the cp/harden pick n roll? Shrugs.

It's one way to lose by 10-12 pts and another way to lose by more than 20 pts - 40 pts.

This humiliating defeat is a result of lack of preparation from the coaching staff and the failure of the players to adapt to the GS defense.
The Rockets also didn't pay attention to defense either. Even when your offense is failing, defense keeps you in the game.
Learn from your mistakes, and try your best. No one is expecting miracles from you. Houston has to regain respect. It's still possible to go down fighting.
    Go Houston Rockets!

a lot being made of the 41 point difference of the final score. that was also the largest point differential of this game.

we had them down 29 in HOU. difference is their scrubs ran up the score at whoracle while ours just went thru the motions and let them leave with a 22 point loss

41 points is embarrassing. More embrassaing for me is that Harden and Paul in press conference were totally relaxed, like they lost a game on Rucker Park

The next win will probably be a more favorable one for the Rockets but I can't imagine Steph going cold as he did in Game 2 in front of the Home Crowd.

    Foul him hard though.

Seeing Harden bling-bling at the press conference is already telling me the result of the game.

Worrier fans brigading. James in his bipolar 'i don't care about this game, did you see last game' mood. CP come across as indifferent in press conference?

Don't like the vibe. Championship teams have a sense of urgency, these guys are just shrugging and not really offering solutions. Where's the leadership on the court and in front of cameras? Hopefully next game is competitive that's all I can ask at this point.

The entire city is embarrassed. Then we come on here and cry about the crowd not being at home games. This city doesn't trust that team, after that debacle on our home floor last year. This Team just has that lazy give up mentality, and all starts with the leader. This city and texas has been through too much lately, these people need more reasons to smile. Not to get their hopes up believing in a team, that will ultimately disappoint them in a humiliating way. Giving no effort at all is not Houston strong. The city deserves better. The Astros represent Houston's true spirit.
