ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Warriors 5/20/2018 (Western Conference Finals, Game 3)

As a dubs fan, thank god harden is lazy. If he moved without the ball 25% as much as klay or steph, he’d be terrifying.

 

But to be completely fair, aside from CP who do y’all have that can QB the offense while harden moves off the ball? The movement with the dubs works because draygod and the slim reaper can both pass the ball well as curry and klay run laps until they’re open.

 

Thus the bench dilemma with the Rockets. I believe the Rockets need to get another PG that can play off the bench.

Where the hell is CP3?? When the game was still somewhat competitive, he was nowhere to be found.

CP3's defense is just as bad though. CP3 can't defend anymore. So now we have 3 guys on the court that cant' defend at the same time, EG,CP,JH

Lets just be happy the obligatory 40-point playoff loss is out of the way. And hey it wasnt a game 6 or 7. Still a 2-1 series.

Well. We missed layups.dunks, shot the ball poorly, and had 20 turnovers. Its hard to win in this League when you don't take care of the ball and miss easy shots in the restricted area. When it happens against a team like Goldenstate, its a disaster. Let's focus on Game 4. We just need to get a win in Game 4 and earn a split there. If any team is capable of beating a team like warriors at their home court, its our Rockets. We will come out to play in Game 4. Go Rockets

 

Again, from an outside perspective, when harden isn’t dominating the ball and running straight iso, the whole team is a lot more scary. Y’all would have a solid chance at beating us if he just truly accepted the SG role, tried to run off the ball (it’s not difficult....it’s just tiring) and let CP run the offense. I honestly cannot remember a single time where harden scored against the dubs, in the half court offense, while cutting to the rim without the ball. It’s just astonishing how little he seems to try sometimes.

Again, listened on radio second half, but before CP hit those couple shots late in the 3rd or early 4th, where was CP this game? Where has his shot and touch around the basic gone?
