It's clear from Game 5 that Kerr is coaching for the series at large while still coaching individual games. What surprised me was that when the Warriors unexpectedly dwindled the lead down to 13, I don't why Kerr didn't put his starters back in to see if they could steal it and close the series out. I don't know if it's ballsy, stupid, or what, but it's clear he has no worries whatsoever that GS doesn't already have this series in the bag, and that bothers me.

 

Defense, defense, defense.

Stay on lock down mode for all 48 and run, run, run. Push their older legs to the brink.

If that’s true, he’s playing with fire. Much stranger things have happened than the Rockets coming back from 3-1.

 

Last game felt rigged for the Rockets. Like the league was making too much money off this series due to the intensity and knew there was big money to push it back to Golden State and then get them a win there. The announcers at the end of the first quarter were already talking about the game going back to GS like to was a done deal. The Warriors just rolled over in this one like, eh, whatever.

Since game 1, Houston has been leading or dictating play in most of this series. We would be closing the Warriors out with some better FT or 3-point shooting and a little more focus on offense, the glass, and on D.

When you have as many young contributors as we have, the margin between winning and losing is razor thin. It will take a special effort to win in the Bay.

I hope Amen continues to get comfortable and dictate play. He is the ultimate x-factor in game 6.

I love that Friday is an 8 pm CST start, rather than at 9 or 9:30. Let's bring this game back to Houston and settle things on Sunday.

 

To add to it, that last fight with Spencer looked like an attempt to bait our guys into a brawl and get some suspensions. I believe a head butt to the face should be grounds for suspension but you won't see that.

 

Hit them at their 2 weaknesses - speed or size
