I'm really disappointed with Cam being a -8 in only 2 minutes. It kills his trade value

 

Agreed. Butler was fouled on the landing and yet the refs allowed him continuation.

 

Yeah, he definitely needs to add that, he's got the youth and ability to do it.

 

If Fred is doubled, then I absolutely want Fred to pass to Jalen and Amen and have them drive to the basket.

I'd like to continue to run the offense through Fred and Alpi rather than Jalen primarily though. It's just working better.

I'd be cool with Jalen having a great game 7 though. That would be awesome.

 

That was fun! And for all the doubt, myself included, Ime might have outcoached Kerr this game!
I am so giddy!

 

The issue with Jalen is he has speed to get around his guy but then gets sandwiched at the hoop. Developing a stop and pull up jumper would be the next step for him.

Can I just mention what impressed me the most about this game is the Rockets keeping the lead throughout the first half and after being only up 2 after the 3rd quarter, came out ready and poised. That showed me character.

 

Adam Silver phones Amen tomorrow:

Honestly a lot of landing fouls called on Butler were BS, Butler kicks his legs forward every time he jumps.

 

Game 7 is gonna be known as the Amen Ascension Game.

 

Fred had been handling doubles extremely well

 

You saw it tonight. Curry drew a foul against Tari Eason by jumping to his right on a three-point shot. You can definitely argue whether the refs should have considered that a normal shooting motion, but he saw Tari was too close and put the refs in a position to have to make a call.

 

He lacks strength and the craft to draw fouls. He never chicken wings and relies solely on athleticism/skill on stepback 3s.

He could do wonders watching tape from Harden, Butler and Brunson while adding strength in the shoulders.

 

Yeah and we’ve been extremely physical with Steph and they’ve let that go. There’s literally a clip of Udoka during a timeout saying the refs aren’t going to call it. If the refs were “out to get us”, trust me this series would be over right now. They definitely were in 2016.

I agree with the Draymond stuff though. For whatever reason the league has protected him. The fact he’s been pushed as a future media presence is wild.

 

Cam Whitmore isn’t going to have a role on a competitive team until he consistently gives effort on both ends of the court and doesn’t shoot every time he touches the ball. He needs to go to a rebuilding team where he can be a gunner and put up numbers with his current mindset.

Jalen has a lot to learn. Thought he has made strides in his playmaking skills this regular season and especially when Fred was out, but he was bad today.

That play he missed a wide open Jabari in the corner only to throw a bounce pass to the feet of 7 footer Adams was very frustrating
