Jackson would have missed those same shots.

I am so sick of seeing Yao running around the 3 point line defending shooters and cutting off penetration only to have to try to rush back into the paint to defend the opponent's bigs.

I am so sick of seeing Yao running around setting picks at the 3 point line for shooters.

Is the whole idea to just wear him out?

WTF are you talking about?!!! Are you even watching the damn game? The Warriors can't freakin miss a shot this game! The Rox did everything they could, they just couldn't overcome the incredibly hot shooting GS team.

And if you call wide-freakin'-open jumpers by David Wesley "jacking up threes", then you will be further disappointed in the future, because the Rockets (and ANY other team) will STILL keep taking those wide open shots until they make them. If that was Jon Barry, he would have made those open shots. DW is just simply STINKIN' it up huggggge time. JVG has said in the past (and continues to insist) that the Rox keep taking those open jumpers until they make them. It is the difference between teams cracking down with all their players on T-Mac and Yao, while challenging our shooters (supposed-shooters that is) to make those shots.

Yao and T-Mac are simply INCREDIBLE tonight, Sura has played pretty well, everyone else has not been up to it lately.

we have no 3rd option on offense. it used to be either wesley or juwon but sadly juwon is gone till next year and wesley should be benched.

The flavour of the week, month, days, Wesley and more importantly
    James is quickly getting old.

Either these guys try to make the extra pass (inside or to T-mac) when their shots ain't falling or we need to retool (again) offseason.

No big deal. Rockets played a good game. GS has a little bit better game but they win the game with help of fuc*ing ref.
We just need to get back wesley's shotting or have Barry back.

i think james is being called upon to do a little too much. what we need is a 3rd option on offense. wesley may be gone this summer.

I think it is a pretty safe guess, I don't forsee him playing agains this season.

In fact, I don't forsee Duncan playing well in the playoffs either, I think he can't heal that fast, but the Spurs will definitely force him back quick.

What? You think their hot shooting and all the FT has nothing to do with the crappy D we played? and let them get hot?

And how many 3s do you need to jack up with their bigs with 5 fouls?
    WTF

whenyour in a slump like our guards are, you don't keep shooting yourself into a loss when you have yao down low. yao shouldve had 40 points tonight.

GSW just played better than Rockets tonight! TMac and Yao combined 67 pts, which are really more than most of us would ask for. and they shot very well except Wesley and Padget. So you can see the problem this game is the perimeter defence lacked intensity. Well, I don't feel too bad about this loss anyway, for guys really played very hard

The difference in the game tonight was the free throw shooting/timing of fouls. Both GS and Houston shot near identically from the field (48 v 49) and from 3-point land (36 v 35). Even the total fouls committed were close to even (23 v 25). But the difference was GS attempted over double the amount of freebies that the Rockets did. Hey if we attempted 41 free throws (and hit at the same percentage we did this game) we win by about 15.

Yes, Wesley was WAY off with his shot, but we also need to not fould the opposition when they are attempting a shot. Good fight back in the end, down by double digits but came back to within 5, but we need to be a lot stronger mentally and concentrate a little more with only a handful of games left.
