Don’t know why in the 3rd and 4th Quarters ww went into single coverage on curry

 

If the Warriors are going to shut down the paint, then we need to get our best shooters in the game. More minutes for Jabari and Holiday could be the answer, and Brooks needs to stay out of foul trouble.

 

It isn't working, they literally had a never ending streak of uncontested forays into the paint in Q3 and Q4 last game, because Curry made the pass out and then the warriors punished the scrambling 3 vs 4 defense.

Hopefully they've put a lot of film into watching what happens and how to combat what happens after Curry gives it up, because we definitely want it out of his hands.

 

Win tonight. Move on to game 5.

 

If Ime doesn't want to change the starting lineup I'm fine with that--but let's get Amen out early in the first and stagger his minutes with Sengun's. Get Bari in there alongside Sengun as much as possible each game, like 28mpg or so.

I honestly think what we need is a clearer differentiation between our halfcourt and uptempo lineups. Change things up and keep GSW's defense on its toes.

I really don’t care much who starts. I’m ok with Amen to the bench for Jabari as a wake-up call. I really just want to see Ime reading what is happening in the game and being flexible with his rotations and especially being willing to make adjustments to his game plan early and often if necessary. FVV playing 40+ mins while Jabari plays less than 30 mins is a real indicator of an overly egotistic coach. It is very reminiscent of Dusty and Maldonado.

 

I am not saying he is our savior, but he has the ability to score the ball, which is exactly what this team is missing. Putting Cam in the game for a few minutes to see what he can offer is better than not making any adjustments. He could help us win a quarter, maybe even win a game if he gets really hot. Him being a key factor to winning this series is a bit far-fetched; however, we do not have many alternative options on the bench. Expecting FVV to have a hot shooting night or for Amen to figure out how to score when the entire paint is locked down is just as far-fetched maybe even more so, IMO.

Draymond can be a loud mouth and yeah he can occasionally do something when he gets too hot-headed but playing dirty is not what he does. No one on the warriors plays dirty.

He was an 80% ft shooter as well, before joining nba. He shot around that rate on international games too. This year he started with 76% and went down later. It is probably the physicality. In the first game of the series he shot well, then dropped again. Either psychological or about fatigue.
