Sounds logical, but this team has surprised me repeatedly this year by winning games they were supposed to lose (and vice-versa). They don't seem to pay much attention to what's expected of them.

 

JG is gonna go for 40 and we will win.

 

I hope our players watched the Detroit and Lakers games today. Even though both teams lost, they played without fear and hesitation, and fought to the bitter end.

Get your nervous jitters out the way and play like you're capable.

The NBA still hasn't seen the real Rockets team yet.

History is not on our side, it seems.

 

8 man rotation.

Jalen will get 10 pts for us.

Fred still sucks on shooting.

Jabari will get 20 mins with only 7 shots.

No Holiday. No Jeff. No Cam. No Tate.

Another Udoka outcoached game.

Nothing new.

 

Jimmy will most likely play and it will be a tough game. We can win if we played like the last few games before Ime rested everyone.

 

That doesn't fill me with confidence.

 

I go back and forth about what the root cause of the offensive struggles. It's a combination of lack of personel and coaching. Neither of which will be addressed until the off-season. It's cope, but I am going to enjoy us being in the playoffs as the second seed and withold judgement of the FO until after the offseason as than the real difficult decisions have to be made.

What is not acceptable is Ime's inability or denial that major adjustments áre requierd to turn this series around. We as fans see it so you know they do too. Really frusterating because Ime has turned the culture and defense around but knows dick about offense and the FO did him no favors in the off season by not addressing the glaring lack of shooting, playmaking and backup point guard. Did not even try to use the MLE. Imagine if we had Buddy Hield instead of GS.

Enjoy the ride fellas, and withold judgement until next season when expectations áre to be a contender.

 

Lose and we’re down 3-1. Might as well be a wrap.

Win and we take back home court and head back to Houston with momentum.

Biggest and easily the toughest game of the series. Arguably the biggest game of these young guys careers. Hope they’re up for the challenge.

 

Reality is we are a bunch of chokers. Whether it’s Ime or Sengun or Jalen or Amen or FVV. We are who we are, not good when it counts. Can’t even shoot better than 60% free throws….until we change the roster, we will continue to never sniff the Finals. No trades at trade deadline is not acceptable and we are where we should be…losing and out after one round. Stone is soooo freaking overrated!!!

Where is his Zeller boy? Lol

In addition, Ime cant properly use our players.
We cant go far with Stone and Ime.

 

We are going to find out if Ime has some solutions or if it's the same old "stay the course".

My brothers in Christ, we made the playoffs after 3.5 years of misery. Just relax and enjoy some meaningful late-April basketball, hopefully soon to be May basketball.

I get your MO is to be hyper negative, but since Ime has been hired we went from a laughing stock to a borderline playoff team to a second seed without using any of the cache of picks. Seems rash and dishonest to say we cannot go far with him given the results this far. He's not perfect, but you're just wrong given the facts.
