I can see that...but he hasn't been good for 3 of the 4 games. I do agree with what Chuck and the TNT guys said as well....you ABSOLUTELY CAN'T have him taking just 8 shots...CAN'T.He was 3/8 (1/5 from 3)...Barkley said 3/17 is a bad game...can't have him shooting just 8 shots for a whole game.And again,it was not a good game again.

 

Let's just face facts.. as much as I hate that franchise they will forever own us.

They owned us during the Harden era and we did a full ****ing rebuild and they are still owning our asses.

 

I’m proud of these young guys no matter what. It just sucks that it had to be golden state’s punk asses that take is out. I’d rather they get beat by any other team. I’ll be praying for another 3-1 comeback

Butler jolt backward after feeling Dillon's hands on him forcing the ref to make a call.

If it was the rockets, they wouldn't call it. Hell, draymond played with 5 fouls and he was still fouling left and right.

 

I don't think that's worse at all. That's just an opponent telling the truth. It was factually the right move. That should not motivate him more than the fact that we're down 2-1 going to Oracle and he sucked balls in game 3.

I don't care about him taking 8 shots, he's had plenty of games where he'll put up 15 in a quarter if he stays in the game. Why would he have more than 8 shots in 24 minutes when the other team is forcing the ball out of his hands? Steph Curry had 13 shots in 39 minutes.

The garbage part is he turned it over so much and missed simple defensive coverages which made him unplayable. That's completely in his own hands. Your jumper can return in a game and sometimes shots don't fall I don't care about that. I care that he's making good decisions on both sides of the ball.

Lots of times it's on the stupid offense that he can't get good shots or on the opponent's defense, but this was 99% on him.

 

Ime selected Warriors by giving up that Clippers game.

 

Of course I'm gonna blame Dillon, that was the crucial play that cost us game --- fouling a 87% ft shooter when it's a tie game is brain dead.

That I agree, but it wasn't as crucial as Dillon's foul on JB.

 

JG and Bari in the same boat, Ime holds them to such a short leash - Bari had that turnover and got benched for Eason and then Eason commits the stupid foul and he gets put back on bench for Amen

You can’t have young players scared to make mistakes, then they don’t play free … look how Podz was jacking up shots left and right … he had no worries about being benched

 

As long as we win game 5 at home, I'll be satisfied that we were competitive in the playoffs against a good team that received a lot of favoritism from the refs.

Winning the next three would be even more satisfying though so let's do that.

 

No, but another win or two in this series will give them something to build on going forward.

 

He's going to have to do something because right now, he's going out sad. Yeah the non-shooters on the floor don't help him but I want to see a lot more hunger and fire from him.

They are constantly missing open players because they are trying to do it themselves. Eason was open so much. This has been an issue with these guys for the last two years but people don’t want to talk about it.

 

Jalen didn't have it tonight. Pulling him out of the game was an act of mercy for everyone.

Jabari definitely needs more shots though. I want Jabari to take 10 threes in game 5.

 

I hate the stupid bounce pass he tries to throw in post to Alpi, it’s a TO 7x out of 10 if Alpi has smaller guy on him

All the Rockets got burnt on D - the inbounds play with 2 seconds that Alpi went for ball fake and Curry hit 3 … then the inbound play with 4 seconds that Butler got behind for layup … and then another Butler layup because Alpi never made it back on D
The foul on Tari to gift Butler 2 FTs end of 3rd …JG foul on Podz for 3pt play

it’s sad I can remember each so vividly

 

As much as I'm excited about another Top 10 pick, that's not what the Rockets need at this point in the game.
