No one should honestly be surprised by this.

Jalen has given you literally four years of data to indicate this was coming.

I said it multiple times this season, after him being a turnover machine in the few minutes of close games down the stretch when teams ramped up their defense, he was going to be a liability in playoff basketball when that's the norm.

Low and behold.

I wish I was wrong.

Unfortunately, I watch and observe what happens in games and don't let blind hatred feed my thought process like a lot of Jalen fans do.

 

Pain. A lot of negatives to take away from the loss, but a lot more positives than game 3. I think we're cooked this series, but my dream would be to knock them out of the playoffs next year. Definitely my most-hated team of all time, by far.

So did we just assemble the worst fee throw shooters ever, or is the shooting coach a problem? Fixing that alone would get the Rockets to the second round at least.

 

Now if they want to advance. They have to focus and improve over the summer.

 

I was thinking the exact same thing in that moment. Ime may be one hell of a drill sergeant, but he sure isn't any kind of grand master.

we will punish them next game in Houston.
Then the big if is back there. Till then one game at a time. Udoka needs to make tough decisions since now we know definitively, twice proven, Jalen can’t handle the big stage

 

Players' hardwork and athletic abilities covered the incompetence of the coach. Too bad we are stuck with Udoka.

We can trick a desperate franchise though. Maybe one that doesn’t need or won’t ever compete for a ship but needs a ticket seller like a business

 

Well when the deciding play is a touch foul on a 3 that wouldn’t be called normally. I say the refs decided the game. We missed free throws and could have won. We could have gotten continuation a couple of times and won. Not turned it over, etc. the game was on the line and butler got fts and we did not.

 

Jalen is only 23. And in his first playoff. There is plenty of time and room to grow. Same can be said for the entire team.

 

You guys don't get it. The play was designed for Adams to get the offensive rebound and put back. Adams just didn't execute well. It's all on him.

 

Cam is 20 only but already far better than Jalen on scoring.

 

There obviously are no guarantees, but if you replace Jalen Green with a hall-of-fame level scorer and closer like Kevin Durant, the Rockets are up 3-1 in this series at a minimum and might have swept Golden State. You are fooling yourself if you think Durant wouldn’t significantly elevate this team when paired with a bunch of elite defenders.

I’d rather have Durant for two first-round picks worth of value due to age than Booker for something like five. If I could get Booker for Jalen Green and a pick or two, that’s a different conversation.

bro I’m good with just never facing this team ever again in the playoffs, like ever. I don’t even want revenge im just so tired of it.

they’re like this psychotic woman that keeps showing up in your life. She’s wronged you plenty of times but you’re chillin you just wanna move on but on a beautiful spring evening she shows up keys your car and puts sugar in the gas tank.

I'm just mad I got emotionally invested in this game. I should have known that no matter how good it looks, you're not taking a home game away from the Warriors in the playoffs.
