ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Warriors 4/28/2025 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 4)

Warriors arent THAT much better than us (if at all).

Another winnable game fumbled away. That ticky tack three point foul was a killer. We should have gotten that same soft whistle when podz knocked down Fred.

It feels like we wasted the one decent VanVleet game this series.

There’s enough blame to go around. I wish Ime left Adams in instead of folding to the hack-a-strategy. He is a legit rim protector, he was cleaning up everything and making GS think twice on their drives. Alpy was still a little soft but I do think he was/is running on fumes. He had a bad stretch after Adams went out. Biting on that Curry pump fake was unacceptable. Not getting back and letting GS go 5-on-4 was unacceptable. Obviously Dillon with the dumb foul. It was soft as **** but still dumb.

I truly hate these ****ing warriors.

If as a team you cannot hit free throws nor open threes you’re just not good enough at basketball. I’m pissed as hell, but the reallity is that this group is not second round material. Sad but true.

 

hopefully we manage to win game 5…I don’t want to see them celebrating on our home court

maybe these guys will shoot better now that there’s no longer any pressure in this series

 

all the Gen Z rockets fans need to learn losing to warriors in the playoffs is tradition.

I am a Jalen fan, still am but this series is on him; 7, 8 and 9 point games can not happen.

If he scores his avg in those 3 games, this is a different series. He just look too tentative

Letting Donkey stay in this game was absolute BS and it cost the Rockets the game. They gave the Warriors the best shot they could to win and it worked. FU NBA.

Ugh… the free throws. Honestly we’re probably up 3-1 if we could just be like a normal 75% ish from the stripe.

One game at a time. Winning game 5 at least puts pressure on them for game 6.

 

Great end to the season. Wished for at least 6 games but 5 games will have to do. Love the tenacity (even after bone-headed plays) and can't wait to see what next year brings as this team will be better for it.

I do hope they use today as a learning experience and win game #5, but I won't be watching it either way. Enjoy the summer and hoping for a top draft pick courtesy of the Suns.

And to everyone here. Don't give up hope, but be realistic. This team needs more seasoning and not fully cooked yet. Their time will come.

Maybe by total fouls, but the fact Draymond Green wasn’t ejected after kicking Tari Eason in the head had some effect on the outcome in the fourth quarter. Sengun feasted anytime Draymond was out of the game, and Green should have been gone before halftime.

 

What a f*cking stupid performance from Ime and Jalen. And what a f*cking stupid shot from Sengun. How f*cking stupid to have Draymond on the floor for 10 minutes with 5 fouls and keep taking midrange jumpers over him.

Everything went in our favor as much as it possibly can against the Warriors and we just made such dumb decisions.

F*cking infuriating.

 

Looking at the box score, Rockets should've won this game by 5+ points

The biggest disparity was maybe FT%, but Rockets had more attempts.

Rockets outrebounded and shot better from the field and 3PT.

Warriors had fewer turnovers, but still... Rockets should've won by 5+

Rockets wack FT shooting was huge.
