That 2009 Rocket team was one of my favorites. They were under talented especially after Yao went down but had a lot of heart and a lot of smarts. This team has a lot of talent but not much heart or smarts.

 

But you are speaking about hindsight.

Livingston was a preseason cut.

Lowry we let go because we had Dragic and Dragic picked his 4th option over 4 year straight contract.

And we ONLY made the Lin trade thinking we had Bosh who took the money after the fact.

Difference between a good coach and JBB: 5-0 run by the Rockets, Timeout by GSW to regroup and stop any possible momentum. 8-0, 17-2 run by GSW, "play through it".

YOu're going to lose that pick at some point anyway. If they kept it this year, then they probably lose next year's 1st rounder depending on protection and where they finish.

Better to lose it this year, next year's draft is supposed to be loaded.

 

The Warriors are freaking good. They would still be a top 3 teams in the NBA without curry.

Curry is a great player but they can beat anyone without him. Obviously he's a superb weapon to have but he's not making this team go as the media wants to make it seem.

This furthers my belief that harden should have been the mvp last year.

 

Agree. Give the starters the dignity of sitting the rest of this horrid game out.

Jeebus. I have *never* seen a Rockets team like this, and I watched them even before Moses Malone.

So glad this season is finally ending.
