AMEN - it is hard to explain that all year, knowing this was EXACTLY what would happen in the playoffs and hearing people complain - but knowing they would figure it out when it was more obvious.

We can't win with an unbalanced lineup.....at most we get 2 wins.....this way.

Broken Warriors still beat most teams.

The shameful thing wasn't to lose to them, moreso HOW we lost to them.

If there is a silver lining, it's that they will most likely rest Jimmy for game 4 and we will be able to "run it back" with a chance to tie the series.

Sengun's immediate pumpfakes are so maddening. Seriously, take the shot or make a quick move right then. Olajuwon didn't teach you to hesitate and try to "trick" your defender when you already have the initial advantage. Just make your move and GO!

He didn't drive to the basket, collapse the defense, kick out to shooters. He didn't even get to the free throw line. One of the fastest players in the game with a lot of talent was passive aggressive. Also your stats prove my point Jalen Green is the shooting guard he should have more fg attempts. Also please don't say no plays are ran for him the that high pick and roll is a play meant for him with Sengun being the 2nd option if they, miscommunicated and he draws both defenders. I watched plenty of times he would get the swith against Curry or Podenski and you are going to tell me he can't beat them off the dribble. Hell he's so fast he could beat Draymind off the dribble as well. I forgot to throw Buddy Hield in there. He gets beat by everyone in the league off the dribble. You don't have to score just collapse the defense, swing the ball and the right play is usually made. Steph Curry drew double teams off his pick and roll and got the ball to Gary Payton. Payton scored 9 points in a row. That is the definition of imposing your will on the game. Hakeem did it, Jordan did it. You didn't post asst stats, rebound stats, T/o stats, steal stats, or block stats. Post had 11 rebounds or something like that. He usually has very low numbers. We lost is the bottom line, I just expect more out of my shooting guard.

    He wasnt passive aggressive.

HIS WORST 3 POSSESSIONS ALL NIGHT, were when he did exactly what you said and forced it and tried to drive it i to the rim while being doubled and the paint is crowded. All misses or turnovers.

He PLAYED GREAT when he just got off the ball when he was being double teamed at half court, rather than trying to force it.

On the very few possessions he had 1v1 against steph or pods there were 4 guys in the paint.

What effing good does it do to beat that defender off the dribble when 3 guys are in the lane preventing any rational attempt.

You just clearly dont understand basketball

Ask the Nets and Suns how trading for KD worked out for them. DO NOT WANT!

I think the Rockets beat the Wolves. That’s what pisses me off. They won’t get that chance to prove it.

They’re not getting outcoached. They had a sound game plan. The players didn’t execute the last 6 min or so of the 4th.

    kept letting Payton slip
    loose traps
    Wrong defensive rotations

Too bad Ime spent the entire season developing Fred and Dillon. I don’t mind Dillon that much but Ime wasted a year of developing a lot of our young players so he can win a few more games to make us think he’s a good coach. He consistently gets outcoached because doesn’t value anything besides hustle and rebounding. He only likes players that play like he played. defense, hustle and trash at everything else.

JG is going through what ANT had to go through, except the Wolves was smart and moved Conley off the ball - yes he’s the PG but if you watch … after rebounds or made shots -they look for Ant … JG can ask for the ball and get looked off

DB and FVV look Bari and JG off so much and it either ends in a gernade or turnover …

the whole “it’s not me, it’s not you, it’s us” crap

You know it's playoff time when every loss signals a broken team and it's all over and every win is hallelujah we've found the Promised Land just stick with this exact group of players and that's all we need to do.

Everyone should just f*cking chill. It's not "this sucks because now we're gonna get bounced from the playoffs" it's "we were going to get bounced from the playoffs either way, now it might happen a bit sooner than we hoped". All of this stuff is valuable experience for the young players and valuable information for the front office to determine what must be done during the offseason.

Yes, this roster probably needs changes. That's entirely unsurprising, you usually don't find your championship roster the first time out. Even MJ's Bulls didn't. It took Hakeem until age 31 to finally get it done.

All will be well. I'm just glad we got our first playoff win in a half-decade, and I hope we can take these motherf*ckers to at least 7 games. Haven't given up hope on beating them either.

I know we don't like using the youth of the team as an excuse, but our stars' personal development needs to go up another notch next season for us to beat teams like GSW, Lakers, nuggets in a 7 game series. Our guys just can't break defenses off the dribble for themselves or the team.

Man I been saying this **** since week one of the season. This whole teams/coaching staff focus too much on getting Fred going, they treat him like he’s our star player. When you go to rockets game you will notice Fred’s name is called last in the lineup. Not our all star center, instead it’s a journeyman fringe nba garden gnome masquerading as a point guard. Stone is making the same mistake he made with KPJ.

It’s nothing Ime’s dumbass could’ve said to convinced me to give Fred 40 million instead of giving Harden 35 million.

I would rather see a lineup of JG Cam DB Bari Alpi … and live with the loss of Fred’s D during parts of the game
