I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but the last GS game was the only one I've been to at the Toyota Center and Dampier was really frustrating Yao. Even in the 1st game, Dampier had Yao under control until the 4th quarter when Yao had 5 pts on fast breaks and got a couple of really tough shots to go in.

Anyway, I want Yao to do well. I'm just saying Dampier plays tough defense on Yao.

Like someone mentioned earlier Yao has really adapted well and has been on a tear since the allstar break. Not to say that Dampier doesn't play against him well but it will be interesting to see how Yao responds this time around.

Is GS really THAT DUMB? Come on, any team in the NBA who dreams of beating the Rox has got to know that double-teaming Yao is the ONLY way of fully containing him. By simply putting Dampier on his body is just not going to cut it. With Oak by his side, Yao will be fearless. He will tear sh*t up in the Bay Area. I think Rox will make Dunleavy regret he ever came back to coaching.

The Rockets will be going for a NBA record tonight.

If the Rockets can win tonight, it will be their 16th victory on the road against GS in Oakland. I know it's only the Warriors, but that's still pretty damn impressive.

you know I would not be surprised to see Padgett start because we are talking about Murphy, right?

Taylor is better of the bench and Oak will see spot time tonight....

I moved to the Bay Area just before the 1996-1997 season. I've been to all of the Rockets games (except last Nov. game just before Thanksgiving) that have played in Oakland (and in San Jose in '96-'97). It's been nice, since I haven't witnessed a Rockets loss since then (knock on wood...no jinx, please).

Anyway, looking forward to another Rockets victory. They really need to beat the beatable teams for the remainder of the season to hang with Memphis for playoff seeding.

Noone can guard Yao one to one. If no double or triple defence, we will win the game easily, otherwise we may win.

Has anyone noticed that Rockets.com has Charles Oakley listed as #34. This has got to be a mistake.
