Rockets will be tired and it may be difficult to keep their intensity up for a team that often finds itself clammoring around near the cellar. So this is a potentially dangerous game. Still, this Rocket team seems to handle themselves so evenly and have been playing so well, I am going to say they sneak past the warriors. The good news is if one or two guys are a little off, the Rockets' offensive power may still be potent enough if other guys are on. I get a weird feeling about this game, but wouldnt bet against the Rockets now.

    Prediction: Rockets 102 Warriors 94

Warriors shot 18 3-pointers in their last game. Their frontcourt are going to dominate the boards.

Rox need to step up. Especially Juwan & Yao, if they don't grab those rebounds it's going to be another L against chumps.

I'll be there tomorrow, cheering on our boys in red.

I predict Rockets win by 12.

Rockets will be tired but Bobby finally shakes off the rust and pulls off a semi-triple-double!

    Rockets 99
    Warriors 98

Ooooopssss.... you better re-read that clipping!

It says that Davis may soon move into the starting lineup for the Warriors!! Since they acquired him he's been off the bench every single game! (which is understandable when they have a guy like Derek Fisher running the point.........)

It is really nice to have beaten the Kings without using Yao that much. He will be relatively fresh for this game.

    Rockets 113
    Warrors 82

The Rockets will methodically take the Warriers apart. No let down, not even close. The Big Red Machine is on the Road and they are rolling down the hill. The Warriers will get flattened on the road home. Be afraid, the Warriers are about to become RoadKill!

Damn. I thought by not in the starting lineup, they meant that he wasn't going to play. Oh well, we'll still pound the warriors.

Where's Swopa these days? Hope the Warriors haven't driven him to the bottle yet.

But Monday night, I have to say 138-84, Warriors. Rockets don't have anything left after winning the last three, Yao's a fraud, and McGrady's back is probably shot for the rest of the season.

Yao will get 4 fouls in the first quarter, and sit until 3 mins left in the 4th. With the Rockets down 89-95, Yao enters the game and scores 12 straight points, and blocks 3 shots. Rockets win 101-95.

Time for a major disappointment. JRich and Murphy are going to light us up for a combined 50 points.

If the Rockets partied at all after the Sac game they will be off.
If they have the same focus up til game time they have showed so far, they will be on.

Rockets catch second wind and win 103-101

Terrible first half leaves them down 56-47 at the half (after trailing by as many as 13)

Start 4th qtr. behind 83- 78. Things look bad when they catch some breaks and go ahead by 5 with 3 min. to play.

Trade baskets and fouls and get the calls and end up winning the close game.

To many turnovers. Not good rebounding. JVG very mad even though we win.

    From Houston Chronicle:
"Yao, struggling with the flu that he has had the past few weeks, did not speak immediately after the game, but later said he was trying to demonstrate the foul he believed Brian Skinner committed."

Yao is still recovering from the flu?

Looks like the attendance of this game is going to be awful. I find that ticketmaster is selling $32 and $22 tickets at half price. Maybe I will try my luck at the stadium tonite to get some cheap tix.
