    Wow. Stop complaining people.

Some of you act as if Yao is Shaq, he isn't.

The Rox played well and won, withstanding a barrage of three-pointers from Zarko and Mickael Pietrus, who are not exactly Reggie Miller and Ray Allen.

The closeness of the game can be attributed to the great night those two players had. Most cases, when you have two extreme-role players like that having career-nights, the other team would be lucky to come out with a win.

I believe last night's win is a tribute to the Rocket's strengths and not to their faults.

:) Here Yao is trying to slow Cabarkapa down. The big orrange four Chinese characters mean "scary scary" with very similar pronunciation of Cabarkapa.

Hope JHo get well before playoff.

I am suprised nobody asks for highlights or the whole game video this time. Is this game that scary to take a 2nd look? :)

    Thanks in advance, R2K!

T-mac's last shot at end of half was not very smart. He could control the ball till last 1 or 2 second then shot , but he shot the ball , missed it, then Warrior shot a 3 at end. It amy cost us a game with as close as last night game. We are happy. Small thing can make rockets even better. Its' not complain. I did not see anyone mentioned it here, because everyone is so happy with the win.

cuz, you know, all those PAPER ballots that Yao won to be the West All-Star starter were filled out by the roving Yao-Mafia

Was at the game. It really was $16 for $32 tix at the counter. Rox plays worse than recent form but still good enough to win. If not for Warriors' 3s, this won't be that close at the end. :)

A scene from an undetermined future date:

In game 7 of the NBA finals, T-Mac goes nuts and scores 26 points in the last 45 seconds, leading the Rockets to an amazing 1-point victory over the Miami Heat, resulting in the 3rd NBA championship in team history.

Meanwhile, over on the ClutchBBS, half the people are complaining because T-Mac shoots too much and Yao doesn't get enough touches, while the other half are arguing that Yao's 16 points and 20 rebounds prove that he's just a glorified a role player.

yao didnot feel good before GS game, as chinese media said. Maybe that't why he played a little bit soft last night and only had 12 shots

Tmac for 9/29 is not a good night. There is nothing wrong when someone points it out. MJ takes too much shots, not like a point guard.

    Wrong.

Warrior basket at 00:31. T-Mac shot at 00:08.

It's no typo either, I remember at the time thinking GSW was going to get a two-for-one opportunity and they cashed in sure enough.

uh yeah, and maybe his teammates were aware of it, ya think...

the guy only played a sporadic 29 minutes and all the yof can say is he needs more shots blah, blah, blah.. well I call bull**** to that and say he needs to stop picking up cheap fouls and be out on the court for more than 4 minutes at a time for his team

Moving now to the topic of the final shot of the game, the final shot was launched a bit early, but I don't have a problem with shooting a few seconds earlier when you can seal the victory with a basket and you have a bit more of an opening to shoot than you would if you take the shot clock close to :01 and allow the defense to close on you. Especially when you are POW and are pretty clutch.

Interestingly, for the first time that I can remember, Yao seemed to get a little star treatment at the same time that T-Mac was not getting whistles on his drives to the basket in the fourth Q.

That's about two straight weeks of fair/good officiating for Yao, imo. About time.

Looked what you posted, and looked at what happened at last 23 seconds, before you mark me wrong.

    0:23 Houston 20 Sec. Timeout.
0:23 Juwan Howard enters the game for Yao Ming. 42-32
0:23 42-32 Mickael Pietrus enters the game for Baron Davis.
0:08 Tracy McGrady's 4 ft jumper blocked by Adonal Foyle. 42-32
0:06 42-32 Zarko Cabarkapa defensive rebound.
0:01 42-35 Mickael Pietrus made 25 ft three point jumper. Assisted by Derek Fisher.
0:00 End of the 2nd Quarter.

LOL, look again, friend. You left out the Jason Richardson basket with 0:31 left.

Do you think it's possible that the Rockets call the 20 second timeout 8 seconds after the Warriors score?

It's been an old topic about Yao's shot attempt number, which I am tired of. Giving Yao more shots every game not only increases his stas, but also, most importantly, is good for this TEAM
