what the hell are u bictching about? Given what T-Mac has done for this team, he's allowed one or two mistakes. of all things T-Mac did tonight, that shot's the only thing you just have to keep bringing it up?

A win is a win. But the team is using Yao on offense less and less, and Yao's greatest strength is putting the ball in the basket. I don't know if that will be good enough against strong teams in playoff.

zarko never made more one three/per game in his life, but today, he made 5 of 7, and had career high in score and rb, I suggest to check if he smoke anything before the game.

    :p :D

    More likely a one-game wonder.

People are so suprised that we have a close game with the Warriors. Relax, the players are tired and emtionally drained. How would u feel when you have a week of tests or interviews came in and the last one is supposedly the easiest of all?
Anyway unfair to judge the players on a single game, especially this one after all they have gone through this week. Cut them some slack and give us a break, afterall, it's a win.

The Rockets did what they had to do and got out of there with a win. Yao rebounded well, Tracy hit some key shots and Wesley got off to a good start. The reason T-Mac gets more shots is because he can create his own shot at will. He's also simply a better player than Yao night in, night out. It doesn't mean that Yao shouldn't be a focus, but T-Mac is just more effective. He is a much better passer than Yao, as well. If J-Ho is ok then this will be a truly great win in the scheme of things. Go team!

A 6 rebounds game sandwiched between a 22 rebounds monster game and a 15 rebounds game in only 29 mins. Yao can be a pretty good rebounder if he sets his mind on it. But he needs to set his mind on it in every game.

    Glad you brought it up.

Let's see, in that game Rox had a freaking total 8 assists - a great tribute to JVG's protege Charlie Ward.

    Rox lost 79-87.

Yao attempted 9 shots in 32 minutes of playing time.

Are you telling us if Yao had shot 18 more times, he would have made only 4 more?

    It's good to win.
I like they just won a little bit , so they could rest a little bit more.

Tmac is a better player, agree.
Tmac is a better passer, agree.
Tmac as a 1st option, agree.
Tmac is more effective scoring wise, disagree.

I don't mind Tmac shooting the ball, but Rockets just didn't go to Yao enough even though there is a big mismatch and nobody else is particularly hot. Tmac kinda played like AI tonight and Yao is utilized like Odom with Kobe.

On the other hand, Yao passed the ball out a little too much today.

The ball still needs to bounce in the right way :)

I did not want to do anything else. I just want to prove one point:
Yao ever had percentage lower than 9/29 besides 0/1.
Do not get me on anything else.

and of course you do know it doesn't work like that, right? we draft murphy, we maybe win a game or two more, we most likely don't get yao ming and so on and so on. see where i'm going? that would most definitely not be our lineup.
i think the pieces have fallen pretty well for us without having to look at hindsight.

I'm surprised no one mentioned how well Yao was rebounding. 15 in 29 minutes. I was really struck by the way he moved around to grab them. An impressive development.
