I thought the GSW game was tonight. Oops. Oh well.

Did the guys show improvement?

I’ve been told that Sengun is a top player in this league and he’s better than harden, can have a Luka type of impact. So why was he 2/10? Why did we lose? There was no Steph, Dray, or Wiggins. Why didn’t he carry us to victory????

Lmao tell me how does it not work like that? Was Tyty not playing when Klay was playing? Compare the plus minus through each quarter between Tyty and Klay and Klay was ahead of Tyty in 3 quarters out of 4 and one quarter where they cut it down to an 8 point lead lmao. We were down 17 at half. This game was never close.

And to get so hyped over a measly plus 2 is ridiculous. Tyty got clowned just like the rest of the team, regardless of his +/-. He's a bright spot because of a measly plus 2 lmao, I really dont want to hear it. He played alright but its nothing to write home about given that Curry, Draymond and Wiggins were not even playing.

 

When your life is so miserable you literally wake up early just to hate on Sengun lol

 

No defensive or offensive system to function within, where everyone knows their roles. Not many true rotation worthy players around him. He is pulling double and triple teams.

 

The way plus-minus works, if a player's plus-minus is positive, it means his team outscored the opponent whenever he was on the floor. It doesn't matter how high the plus-minus of other players on the other team were--when Ty-Ty was on the floor, the Rockets were the better team for those X number of minutes. Again, you're talking about a very small sample size, but for at least last night's game, the Rockets were clearly a much better team with him than without him.

lol. I'm not overhyping anything, dude, and certainly not based solely on a single game's plus-minus. That would be asinine. I literally just said I thought he was one of the few bright spots of the game and hope he gets more playing time the rest of the season. It's a good sign for the kid; they spent a first round pick on him and are in desperate need of decent point guard play. If he pans out as a solid NBA player, it'd be huge for the rebuild. He's clearly got a long way to go, though.

Okay I understand but I just broke down the game quarter by quarter in terms of plus mins. When you look at what Tyty did vs what Klay did on the court, that is indeed us getting clowned. Because Tyty was having sucess against GS g leauge second unit, it doesn't give me a lot of hope. I was more impressed with his last couple of games tbh. This game was nothing special.
