Also, i wouldn't worry too much about GS. We already beat them twice this season. We just need to close them out next time.

Anyone watching PTI right now? Steve Francis is one of the upcoming topics they will discuss and I have no idea why?

That and one of our stars had a terrible game. Bogut didn't play either I know....but the team just looked so sloppy last night.

I doubt Bogut could guard Dwight as well as O'neal did. May have been a blessing for GS he was out.

Thanks - I see things the same way you do. McHale should have made adjustments earlier to have dwight change his game plan instead of those TOs and wasted posessions of dwight trying to post up Oneal

Jermaine is one of the few bigs who have experience defending against quality big men, and he got away with a lot of those old tricks like pulling the chair, pushing Dwight off balance when he was in the air while concealing the arm with his body, leaning forward into Dwight and flopping and never biting on shakes...etc. I think it was good experience for D12.

Watching the Warriors Rox game (only saw the second half, listened to part of the first half on radio), Harden ISO CAN work. Harden is very difficult to defend. His jumper makes defenders play up on him and then he can get by most defenders. His step back is almost undependable.

The problem I saw is that when you RELY on it, the defense eventually just sags to the middle and forces other guys to beat them.

Lin's play in the second half wasn't too smooth. He looked out of sync. He was reluctant to dribble, drive or shoot. It's pretty obvious that when you take away his attacking style, he struggles. Additionally, the times he did get the ball, it was late in the shot clock or in tough positions so he could not make any plays.

I saw some comments about the fact the Rox had a back to back. The Warriors were also playing on a back to back so both teams were on fairly equal footing. So the Warriors hit some tough (or lucky) shots. Hey, it's the NBA, someone can / will be beat on any given night. I'm not bashing the Rockets. They are a tough squad and if I were the Warriors, the Rox would be one team to avoid early.

I mostly agree except the fact, that the game and eventually the OT were played on their home court. I really liked the end of the game despite us being somewhat unlucky (lucky shot using the backboard + retro O'Neil with the block instead of tipping it in for us :p), the team fought hard even though Dwight, Chandler and Jeremy had rather subpar nights on the offensive end.

I think you learn the most out of such tough losses on the road during the regular season in terms of preparing for the po's. In the end it was a tough loss vs a good western conference po team on the road so it's all good (assuming Harden is ok ofc)

    NBA debut- Dec 5th 1996

Forgot how long he's been around.
Much more quality centers back then.
