Nobody except Harden. I honestly have no idea what this team was doing tonight.

 

Can't really say Parsons blew it, Jermaine just made a great defensive play.

 

Any news on Harden and his arm?

 

Fair points since Beverly fouled out but his defense was not that good, and he was non-existent on offense. His play definitely frustrated me tonight.

 

Out two games max.

One game Lin will score 30 and 15 and this will rile up Lin fans as proof that Lin is actually the best PG in the NBA.

Either way Rockets win both games and another "Are we better without Harden?" thread will pop up.

 

Funny enough, the Rockets were +9 in Lin's minutes. A lot of this was because he was a part of the small lineup that erased the deficit in the 2nd half. He didn't play great in terms of scoring, but defended, spaced the floor and moved the ball well enough.

 

He wasn't blamed for the loss. What he's being blamed for is extremely passive play in the clutch and injuring Harden on a laughably stupid sequence. But keep at it, man, keep at it.

 

Beverley has quick legs, but he can't guard shooter and put pressure on the opponent PG's defense.

He looks like a good defender but actually isn't.

 

The defense is definitely getting better, Beverley hustles his tail off out there....it's pretty amazing to watch. Dude can go 1-12, I don't care cause he just goes all out on defense.

It's obvious to all of us that late game execution on offense is the weakness. I would say it's a combo of McHale's horrible lack of calling any plays and Harden holding the ball too long. We can get the 3rd seed and hold onto it as long as we want, but our ceiling is definitely the 2nd round.

 

Yep, you should do what I usually do and just avoid the game thread after a loss. It's only people, young and old, kids and adults who can't control their emotions. Not all ofcourse, but their emotions runs so high they just post hundreds of posts just to vent their emotions. So try to avoid it if you can.

 

Harden's go ahead shot at the end of the 4th was an re-enactment of Jordan on Russell..

 

Jeremy plays uncoordinated when the game is on the line...like he tries to rush everything and i hate it

 

Saying it's "chicken mode" is you being a douche. By facilitating the ball to Harden and other hot hands, Lin's just doing what McHale wants.

 

TNT guys were pretty spot on. We will need to get better at executing down the stretch. I still put money on us in a 7 game series against the mob especially with home court.

Need to learn from it and bounce back. Get some momentum against the Suns and Kings then have a real crack at the Clippers. The Clippers are every chance to lose 2 of there next 3 before they play us.

Getting through Feb with 1 lose being in overtime on the road would be much better than any of us expected.

 

Lin should stop relying on James too much. Always give the ball to James even though he play a hell of a lot minutes already. Sometimes James doesn't seem to want the ball and they still give him the ball. C'mon man....just take it upon yourself and make yourself a better player and contribute and do something beside just passing the ball to James every freaking time. I think Lin is just as dangerous attacking the ball but for some reason chose to play passive. That has always been the problem w/ him...playing passive and don't know how to push himself to play aggressive. Or maybe afraid of being play aggressive because he doesn't want to be criticized for turning over the ball. I dunno...i just feel he should stop always pass the ball to James.

 

uhh ya which means whoever he passed it to another player who failed so u wanted him to take a shot and win the game and no being buried in the corner where he is NOT being used properly is not his fault

I was actually encouraged. Warriors got some lucky breaks (some lucky bounces, Iggy's 3pter off the glass) near the end, and they were playing at home. Otherwise Rockets would have won, even though Rockets really did not play that well (for them) in this game.

 

Hopefully J. Harden is alright. Sit him if you have to. Don't force it.
