He warrants criticism, but you guys are making it like it was his team and he was the sole reason for the lost.

He had the opportunity to take shots, and he simply did not take them. He attempted to drive multiple times but he ended up losing his handle. Nobody's saying it was Lin's place to win the game, but if you have the ball in your hands as much as Lin did, you are expected to do something with it. He didn't, and so he's being criticized.

Since he didn't play PG and didn't have plays called for him I assume he was there for defense. Harden had the ball I n his hands 70% of the time

This. But as usual, Lin gets blamed for the loss anyway.

But who deserved to be in the fourth and in the OT in Lin's place?

Lin was one of the most efficient players out there tonight. We would have won if even half the other guys didn't completely suck.

We are so inexperience. We need more games like this under our belt because that is how playoffs will be. You will struggle because they take away your best plays and also the refs will swallow the whistle.

In order for us to be ready for playoffs than we need to add more plays in our playbook that we can go to when they take away plays and refs are not blowing whistle.

Some of it is Lins fault because he's the #2 closer, but mchale needed to get bev out the game to foul out curry and Motie played well and didn't play in the second half

My thoughts on this were that McHale probably wanted Parsons length to bother Curry if he took the shot. I am guessing he felt that if Curry took it to the basket, parsons might be quick enough to stay with him if not Howard is there to clean it up. Even with Howard being late, he still managed to make Curry adjust.

So many ways we should've won.

Parsons blowing the dunk and not passing it to the open Dwight.

Defensive breakdown on the last play before OT.

Lin going chicken mode ..Parsons took way too many shots and was inefficient. If Lin didn't pass up open shots some of those could have gone to him and we probably win.

Random poster: "Tough loss. Parsons could have _____. Too bad Casspi _____. Could have used more/less _____ from Harden. Lin should have tried to ______."

Ardent Lin fan: "Shut up, hater!! You're such an idiot to blame everything on Lin! He only struggled a little because he's on a short leash / held back by Harden / hated by coaching staff. [Insert insults re: rest of roster here]."

Antagonistic poster with no self-control: "Eff that scrub Lin! We don't want him here anyway, he sucks!"

Convo continues in circles, becoming more insane each round.

Rinse and repeat. Every effing game.

Were you watching the game? Tell me with a straight face that Parsons was handling the ball more than Lin in the 4th and OT -- he wasn't. The fact that Lin only took 9 shots tonight is largely on him.

And it's nice that you play the "he's only a backup" card when he plays poorly and then rage when he isn't treated with the requisite respect at other times.

Many people have blamed the players you listed, quit whining.

The end-of-game plays stick with people more than early-game plays, Lin looked timid at the end of the game and it made an impression on people.

Biggest blame of the game should obviously be Dwight. O'Neal should have no business stopping Dwight like that. Also if Dwight made even half of his freethrows, there wouldn't have been an overtime to being with.
