That was the first time we've lost 2 in a roll this season.

Ok, so i was at the game in Oakland, here are some breakdowns.

-Mutombo literally is hurting us now when he plays, he can no longer provide anything any more. His rotations are way too slow, we need to pick up a backup 5 quickly!

-Bonzi looked decent, I'm glad he got some minutes. But he had a really boneheaded T, but he played pretty hard, only had 4 pts, but didnt take many shots and missed a fastbreak layup

-Luther played awesome, he was driving and cutting beautifully. His shot was pretty tonight, all his makes were nothing but net.

-Rafer played pretty well. I thought he actually contained Monta Ellis pretty good, except for a few plays. Baron was just unstoppable, but Battier was getting owned as well.

-Juwan Howard makes us a worse team when he plays, I am absolutely postive of that

-Billy looks like he does not belong in the NBA right now. He was getting owned on defense, making bad decisions, and bricking non-stop. He looks so unsure of himself out there, kept looking at JVG for approval!

-Yao really got tired, he clearly played too many minutes. He had no legs on a couple of shots. But he played his heart out and I really felt badly that he couldnt get them the W

-really rough night for Shane. Baron absolutely destroyed him. He took a few chargers and hit a big three, but he also let Dunleavy get that rebound and fouled him.

-The last play with 1.2 left is clearly why you need to draw up a better play. Yao, wtf??? JVG is so bad at these plays, should have found a way to get Luther or someone a three

the last play was designed for luther to shoot, but yao decided to take it himself.

Sorry, in my very humble, objective and affirmative opinion, Yao won't be traded, at least in the next 5 years. May be the clutchfans.net should consider to trade you though. So what can you get for this marvelous website in return?

    Ask Tom Thibodeau this question.

He lost alot of US$ to Yao Ming during Yao Ming's work-out practice with him alone.

    Growing pain for Rockets...
We lost, but the good thing is we fight, and we never get blow out this season so far. This is a good sign.

IMO, JVG has made some stupid decisions. When we led by 12 in the 3rd quarter, everybody was excited and the game was in Rox's rhythm, Yao was happy and he could keep fighting, but Jeff rested him on the bench and we lost our lead to 3pts. If we kept Yao in and with the terrific performance of our guys, we may even got a 20pts lead and there is no chance for the GSW, JVG could rest Yao the whole 4th quarter maybe. ;)

man, this guy is like making 38points, 18 rebounds n u are still not happy with him?

maybe, when he make 40points n 20 rebounds will make u happy, i feel so sorry for Yao as he is fighting with all he has n our rox fans don't support him

Yao is a superstar ( the best center you can get ) and still getting better. And the difference with the 99 00 Lakers is that it was shaqs team, the rockets is clearly t-macs team.
And yao had a superstar game if i check the boxscore ( didnt see the game ), just didnt finish and that can happen sometimes.

Anyway hopefully T-Mac will be back soon (sorry will return soon :D ).

Good thing I took a shot of Airborne nighttime before the start of the 4th quarter. Was able to sleep tight. But it was overall a great game to watch, instant classic as they say it.

If we talk about the blaming game, I would say it was the defense on Baron that we fell short. He's just too good. Remember, Richardson is another small guy that is difficult to guard. If we couldn't contain one of them, we're lucky.

And I don't know why I had a bad dream last night, I dreamt that Span was waived.

    Bottom line.

Your big man is getting 38 and 18.

    Playing big minutes.

    Giving his all.

I don't care who he is or isn't, no one can do it alone. Micheal had Scottie (and others), Shaq had Kobe. Batman had Robin

Get the big man some help or it will be a long season (and career).

If t-mac is busted, ship him out. If Bonzi can't play, ship him. Yao needs a legitimate #2 or his talent will be wasted. ala Charles Barkley, great player, no help, no rings.

what about all the talk that the team is better suited to playing with injuries? so far, it's been all talk. yao played well, but in the clutch, he was clearly winded and could not pull of a washington redux. that baron 3 was just really bad luck...

as far the last play, yao should have given it to luther like the play called for. if he was too tired to make his usual shots, what more a 3 pointer? we clearly miss tmac, he's so important to the team. at least now you people see that.
