Predictably, the r****ds are out after a loss...

Good shot by Davis over Battier. That's all.

As for the last play with 1.2 seconds left. Not a good look, but you draw up a play that gets a good look with a second on the clock.

If Yao would have hit that, this would have been one of the best games ever. It would have been a fairy tale ending and ESPN would have been all over it talking Yao up for MVP. I can only wish.

For me, since I didn't get to see, how close was Yao? :D

If Bonzi gets back into shape and finds a role on the team I would be all for it.

I kno that's two heart breaking losses in a row but have faith. We're 6th in the conference and it's still early in the season, we barely broke the quarter mark, so keep on playing and look ahead at tommorow night.

No, it wasn't a 'gimme hook shot'. He was slightly out of position and there was not good spacing. Do you think he would just throw up an air ball on a 'gimme hook shot' like he did there?

Should have called a timeout and drawn up a good play like Rudy used to and like just about every other decent coach in the league does. Oh yea, I forgot, our brain dead coach doesn't do that because he CAN'T. The only thing that matters in his eyes is defense. He couldn't draw up a decent offensive play to save his life.

Well a lot of crap happened but the biggest thing was Dunleavy's offensive rebound. Shane didnt box out. :(

Yeah but he did say "Luther inbound the ball so you have no chance of shooting it hence...we lose"

UHHH .. he got an airball.. now ESPN is gonna be dissing yao. and conveniently exclude his earlier turnaround fadeaway J from 3 point land.

And yes dont blame JVG or Yao for that play..

They made some calls for us, too.
However, I feel that there were a lot of nocalls in regards to fouling Yao. I sorta understand this, cuz then Rockets would win without a doubt..cuz Yao is pretty darn unstoppable.
I was impressed with Yao's stamina and just his dominance. It's nice to see.

I agree with the guy who said..can't wait for snyder to come back..and then bonzi to get better. Cuz we do have a good team. The only problem is, we cannot go very far without Tmac. When's he coming back?

I still have enouth confidence for this team, we might lose several games later, but it doesn't matter. When we are all health, we will come back.

    BTW, YAO is greatttttttt!!!!

I don't think I've ever seen Luther catch and shoot a three off a screen (that's what such a play would require). He's either a set jump shooter, or he gathers him self off the dribble, sets, and fires.

Really nice game. Much better than the game with lakers. Yao used all his energy. So why you guys so upset. No team win every clutch moment, rockets already won some in this season. Now seems Rockets is getting better and better with a lot of confidence that you can't see in last season.

    Exactly.

Or, start Luther at Sg and TMAC at SF. Luther, even if he started with Yao and McGrady would get you at least 15 points, probably closer to 20. His defense isn't bad either, so we would effectively score a few more points while still keeping teams to a league low.

And after the past two games, I think the kid has earned that spot. Now that we have Bonzi playing, it's a luxury we can afford.

This really sucks. I am tired of what ifs, the Rockets need to start winning without T-Mac. T-Mac for all his worth will always have the bad back in his game and in his head. I wish the Rockets were in the running for AI but I know they will not make the trade. I hope things get better on the Road trip.

i know Yao played 41 minutes today, he sure looks tired in the fourth quarter. But, why, starting from the first quarter, that rafer tries to push up the tempo? we are playing without Mcgrady. Yao sits down, we don't have anything for offense, not till Bonzi gets in shape. Why not just spend 5-6 seconds getting the ball down the court instead of 2 seconds and letting Yao running? JVG is an old school coach, and how can he like that kind of tempo?
When you have Yao Ming, who's not as mobile as a 7 footer, your point guard would set up half court offense with the tempo Yao's comfortable. I know Rafer got all the fansy dribbles and crossovers, but it's not his team. It's hard to control the tempo of the game for a big man, but can a point guard , a role player, to set up the tempo? With Yao on floor, we should not run the floor and jack up threes with 18 on the clock.

for JVG, I have nth to say.
