Davis, as a PG, might be one of the worst FT shooters in NBA history.

I think his career mark is under 70% and he has had a couple of Shaq like years shooting under 60%.

Yao for Artest sounds like a good trade to me. I can watch Yao on every pacer game then. :D

    Shut up, idiot.

You paid $10 but that doesn't mean you are a rocket fan.

I would trade you for a jerk.

It sickens me that some of you so called "fans" had already given up on the team halfway in the 4th and I thought the Sac game had taught us something about this team and their heart. I mean, people were already calling for Bowen and Wesley's head and before you know it, they delivered big in overtime. If you guys gonna say stuff like that prematurely and posting choke signs, at least owe up to your beloved team and don't disappear until the next game. I was pissed with Bowen in the frst half but he made up for it with hussle play in the 4th and I give him props for that, but no way I'm thinking "sit his ass down" or "trade Wesley" like some of you guys.

Great win, I love GS's back court though, Baron Davis and JR are THE best back court in the league, bar none!!! Skills, power, physicality, they got it all. Let me know a better back court???!!!

great win, any team that tries 37 3-pointers deserves to lose in heartbreaking fashion, also it needs to be dragged into a dark alleya nd given a good solid beating

The basket Yao made at the end of 1st quarter was totally good.

i think tmac is just worried with his girlfriend giving birth to a new baby...
maybe just had a hard time concentrating on the game, but tmac better way to do is dedicate this road trip to your new kid, score 60+ on each game in this road trip and the W!!!

I disagree with those saying the last play was called for McGrady, but he clearly was a pivotel part of the play (in that he was running around looking like he's trying to get the inbound pass so he can make a shot, which grabbed attention away from Head and other players on the court; he was the perfect decoy needed to make that play work). JVG clearly called that play for Head, with him inbounding to Yao and getting it back and making the shot; that was the idea all along.

Props to JVG on that play-calling, that's when top-tier coaches earn their money, IMO. More importantly, JVG called the game-tying shot for a rookie, signaling his faith in him and the team's faith in him (since McGrady had to approve that play as well and showed confidence in the youngster).

I think if anything, that one play signals to me that JVG and the Rockets have found their man in Luther Head, and the coach is going to lay more burden and responsibility on his shoulders, because he has confidence in his ability to handle the pressure.

I was very pleased with that, and this game if anything shows the resilliance of this team and (dare I say it?) the resurrection of it's "us against the world" mentality that they had last season, that fighting spirit that loudly declares to the whole league "We ain't going nowhere, we ain't done yet."

Props to the Rox, and even DW and RyBo who played terrible earlier in the game and made some costly mistakes came up clutch in the finals few minutes of the game.

Now THIS is starting to look a lot more like a "team" and not just a collection of individuals.

    On a side note...

My GF and I were watching the game. With couple minutes left in the game they inserted Moochie in the game. I told my GF they should let Luther play even though he is struggling because he is clutch. He will make the shots when the pressure is on. I was trying to explain this to my gf, and even though she is a big Luther Head fan, she had this skeptical look on her face.

Lo and behold, Luther is in with 1 minute left in the game and hits the game tying, cold-blooded, ice in veins, monkey in shorts, 3 pointer! I was just dancing around in my room with the "I told ya so" anthem stuck on auto and repeat.

Needless to say, I slept on the couch.

I think the Pistons...and arguably the Clippers would beg to differ

Umm no. But she did stay at Holiday Inn last night.

And I saved a bunch of money this morning by switching to Geico.
