Warriors are a good team. We lost to a good team. THe Warriors deserve the prasie they are getting right now. Curry and Thompson have improved from last year and are really good. They are a deep team, that plays D and is fun to watch.

Eventually I think they will come down earth , there record is a mix of luck and weak scheduling. At full strength they are no better than us. Our season has just been a mix of luck and bad luck at the same time. Hopefully things will improve. We need a top 4 spot. Any match up will be tough in the first round(unless pheonix somehow stays in) , so home court is the best we can do.

The question is...are they going to beat the Rockets win streak record?

I mean, I guess the Warriors could too but at this point it's the #3 record in history anyway.

Nope, their mushy schedule starts to get tough here in the next few games, it will end.

No surprise but in all the interviews and game recaps on ESPN, it was never mentioned that we were without several key players. I saw that Bogut was out, and that may have helped us a little, but to ignore the fact that we did as well as we did on their court without our full complement, all the while congratulating GSW on their 14th win and how they did it handily, was truly disrespectful to us.

Im I know the media hate but cmon they've won 14 in a row their the story not the rockets. Injuries or not this is one of the better wins for them on the streak.

    Nope.

    Their upcoming schedule is TOUGH

    At Dallas
    At NO
    At Memphis
    VS OKC

Now if they sweep those games, I will proclaim them the favorite to win the title.

Meanwhile, Clippers have won 9 in a row and only in 4th place. LOL.

Rockets just ran out of gas yesterday. Good fighting spirit.

I'm not discounting that at all, I'm just saying the media doesn't acknowledge that we stayed up with them through 3.5 quarters while severely depleted. Guess it's too much to ask to tell the whole story.

Well, see, that's the problem. Even with an off night, no we couldn't give him some time off he deserves. This guy has been bleeding Rockets Red on the floor since returning. EVERY player has off nights. But his defensive efforts are one of THE trade marks this year. So, no no time off just yet.

I'm ready for a PAPA K update....gosh I sure have gotten use to him coming in and creating things.

Didn't Morey say coaching only accounts for about 5 wins?

The way GSW is playing compared to last year, and the way the Rockets are winning with all of their injuries after he coaching staff revamped the defense, I think that line of thinking is proven to be false.

Yeah even when the Warriors lose it will be the top story. GSW deserves to be the talk of the week because of their win streak. Just like how the Grizzlies had their win streak in the beginning of the season. It would be disrespectful not to talk about their win streak. How would Rocket fans like it if Rockets go on a 14 game win streak and NOT be talked about? Salty fans will be salty fans.

Proud of the effort, we would've won if Harden got those foul calls in the final 4 mins...he was really upset at the no call on his missed 3 point shot.

I counted 4 straight times when Harden was hammered with no call...it happens.

Would've won if we had more than 7 players healthy too...

I'm conflicted. I want them to lose, but I don't want the Mavs to be the ones to beat them.

When we recently played the Cippers, all of the story was about how it was a big "statement win" for the Clips. Very little mention of the Rockets being short-handed.

I guess that's good. People still expect the Rockets to be competitive regardless of the fact that they're missing 4 rotation guys.

    Meh.

GS has one of the best rosters in the league and has had a fairly easy schedule.

Rockets have had a very easy schedule and the strength of our roster was clearly not rated properly before the season started.

I think both coaches and theirs staffs have helped, but I'm not ready to say that they are a bigger part of teams success rather than the actual roster and the schedule they have faced.

At this point I am ready to concede the number one seed to the Warriors, as long as they beat up on the Mavs, Grizz and other teams battling us for the #2 seed. Plus, let the Dubs have OKC in round 1 -- I don't want any part of that as a first round matchup.

If the Rockets are healthy I have confidence we could win a 7 game Western Conference Finals against the Warriors, even if they do have home court advantage.

edit -- also, I am never conflicted -- I always want the Mavs to lose.

Where can i find real journalism where someone will just say how it is and not this Disney narrative stuff. ESPN started with the Warriors "routing" the rockets.. to their credit they changed to to warriors "outlasting" the rockets. I want to be able to make a choice which media outlet can i go to to watch objective reporting?

I am not sure having the top seed is a good thing anyway so GSW can go ahead and take it. I have no doubt that OKC is going to drag themselves back in the playoff race and probably end up as the number 8 seed. Whoever gets the number one seed is going to be in for a war.
