    All jokes aside though, Golden State has no right to be as good as it is.

    Last year's #2 overall pick and this year's #7 overall pick not contributing whatsoever. Second and third best players are Wiggins and Draymond. Thompson not back yet.

    And they're 7-1? Sheeeesh. If/when Klay gets back and Wiseman and Kuminga get up to NBA speed, GSW is going to be even scarier.

    Because people keep downplaying the impact Curry and Draymond have on a team.

    I said before the year they would be contenders. The only reason they were mediocre last year is because they expected to be with the news of Klay being out. That kind of hurts the motivation of even your best players, even Draymond admitted to that IIRC...but they feel like they have a chance at winning a ring this year and are operating as such.

    I continue to be excited about these Baby Rockets. The L’s are to be expected but they are playing well against top teams. Patience and development. We’re going to remember when these were just fresh teenagers and youngins in their 20s / early career. Is it 7:30 yet!?
