ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Warriors 11/29/2007

so i missed the first 10 minutes of the game. Though it's a whole new perspective to see what people will write the very moment it looks grim for us. i saw "Game over" at least 3x. People started ranting of our flaws, soft team, etc. Then we get back in the game, people is ranting how great everyone is, and so on.

Hmm. I guess I am the same too sometimes.

W/e, Rockets were doin very well in the second quarter with their bench. Seems like the game will be a very close one with the warriors pissed off all game. That stephen jackson is something else ... wanted to pick a fight with snyder for outrebounding him.

Steve is doin well again. Yao is doing okay and same with Tmac. I say okay because what they do is I guess expected. I'd say our team should be able to win, as the warriors seem to be a very streaky team. They're either hot or ice cold, as evidenced by the drastic momentum changes in the game. I'm not sure, but I'm thinking a Tmac or Yao hot streak may be needed for us to win though ...

 

When the other team is hitting their shots like they are, it is really hard to win. If you are only at 50% making your own FTs it is even harder. That has to change in the second quarter if we want to win this game. I expect a better T-Mac in the second half, and hope GS is getting tired.

Steve Francis needs to be in the game, when BD is in. Rafer ain´t playing as bad as some here see him, but a little bit better shooting would be greatly appreciated.

I`d also like to get back to small ball some. Yao out, Scola as center, we can be pretty dangerous. Just for a little change of pace. Bring Yao back in the 4th quarter, they will be tired and Yao will be fresh.

tmac gets zero respect around this league. the warriors commentators even said he was fouled several times on his drive and when the opponent's analysts think so on THEIR homecourt, something's wrong.

hopefully tmac just keeps plugging.

the bench played REALLY well but battier has really become an offensive liability. what happened to him this year? rafer and james are starting to get out of their funk and he's still in his.

he needs to step up b/c he plays a lot of minutes.

but i do like the small lineup adelman put out there. we need to go to that more. yao can't get anything going tonight. james/francis/tmac/bonzi/scola is a good lineup v. this type of team.

Are we showcasing Snyder and Luther for a trade?

Can't think of any other reason for them to be out there. They are terrible. Maybe we gonna trade them two for Pietrus? You know, he wanted out of Golden State in the offseason.

Well these announcers are actually pretty good. Without an overwhelming stench of homerism like some teams. The problem is that new "young" ref.
