Almost like they are FANatic about their teams and like to root for their team and thus it'd players.
And let's be honest bulk of player x haters started their narrative before their career even started or atleast before they played a whole year.

Regarding no 4th qtr Green, I just wish Ime had done this sooner.

 

Yes, but they are still not good enough to win major road games with Aaron Holiday and Jeff Green as some of your guys.

Exactly. The losses aren't even that bad but posters here as usual act like we lost every game by 30.

Lol okay you can try to close games with Aaron Holiday, Uncle Green, Landale and Fred over 50 games.....I dare you.

Holiday, Green and Jock are 3rd stringers for a lot of other teams.....yet here they are playing major minutes.

It is hard for Sengün and FVV to also carry most of the 2nd Unit....it is already a Sengün One Man show than I would have liked.....but what gives...

 

I would close games, right now, with FVV, Sengun, Bari, Dillon and Tari
Maybe Cam instead of Tari when he gets up to speed.

 

Dude somehow went -7 in 4 minutes.

We lost by 5 lol.

Holiday and Green have been major contributors for some pretty good teams.

 

Bad news is “Scorer” is not a profession in NBA for a starter anymore, it is just one of the essential skills. Jalen needs to be at least a 2-way to contribute and shine.

 

If Holiday is clearly better than Green. Green sitting out the 4th was the most promising thing about this game

 

We must draft Adem Bona from UCLA as a backup C. He is Nigerian origin athletic C, Who plays for Turkish National Team. According to Tankathon, 1st raund 20 pick.

 

He is not, he is 27 and has more experience .....and he is a 3rd stringer on most good teams.

You can play him alright but know what he is......

 

Jock isn't playing major minutes.

Holiday and Green may be "3rd stringers" but they are doing an OK job as backups, esp Unc Green. We don't need a world champion cast this team just wants to be in the playing looking for the playoffs.

 

Sorry, but this loss pisses me off, and we have to look no further than undisciplined defense and Jabari & Jalen + shooting threes as a team too much. How many times I saw Jabari and Jalen dribbling into a tight spot, into a player getting a charge, dribbling into a crowd / double team, no cutting or idea where to move off the ball, that is all I needed to see in that first half to know we where losing. Most of that can be cleaned up. Both also suffer from just trying to get to their spot at all cost and then shoot it regardless of shot clock or defenders on them. This is mostly Green.

Then we have Green apparently on a back-to-back with tired legs since he could just not get his threes to come close from any other place than the corner, and he still doesn't change a thing. This all boils down to lack of awareness. Green along with FVV tend to do this dribbling into a shot by themselves early in the shot clock too much to my liking. Jabari does it too at times. FVV I also did not really like hoisting those threes as he also barely drew iron. We have to attack more in those situations.

Then on defense, I like Brooks, but for a good defender he sure gets some dumb fouls. And not of the Artest type, the frustration ones where he used to just drag people to the ground, elbow or whatever. But he does seem to commit some fouls that are unnecessary since he's right with the opponent and doesn't need to use his arm or hip to push. The undisciplined defense, reaching in, not being in the right spot to help, trying to block a shot when just going straight up is all you need to was also too apparent.

There's been nothing fishy about the officiating necessarily, just standard incompetence, though the way we did attack the basket way more and I see opponents get bump fouls and we don't at times, does definitely affect the outcome and the way some guys approach the game possibly. Sengun should get way more fouls called for him and a lot less against him. But all in all, if home cooking and us shooting poorly this early in the season while still overall playing very solid defense means losing by 5 or less, then I'll take it. FVV and Sengun with the scoring and playmaking is great to watch. Just need Jalen and or Jabari to make that leap this year.
