Add in 29 points, 2 steals, and 5 of 5 FT. What a great game he had. Maybe this will finally be the year where hacking Clint will benefit us more than our opponent. Remember that first year? It was hard to watch him take free throws. Painful actually, for not only him, but for us to watch.

Beating the Warriors is just so much fun that we all can't stop talking about it.

 

Certainly doesn't support basketballholic's anti-Capela rhetoric.

 

It helps to think 'holic as a barking chihuahua. They always make a lot of noise but are tiny and useless. Just be the big dog and ignore the little pest.

 

Still can't get over this game; utterly amazing.

 

What a game, and what a game by the MVP. It was basically him vs Warriors and refs. With Capela to clean up and finish dishes.

Rivers had a solid game, esp handling the ball. Wasn't afraid of the moment

 

Regarding the last 2 minute report, there has to be a degree of severity of the missed callls. While no ref is perfect, that missed out of bounds call is just so egregious. It’s like the surgeon left his phone in patent’s body and sewed him up. It’s that bad.

Re-watched parts of each quarter and missed this the first time:

32 seconds left in 3Q, After harden str8 punked Klay w/ a step back 3 - harden slapped Klay in the azz as harden ran back on defense LOL. Spanked him twice in that sequence!

 

There should never be another game thread. Just continue all future game chatter here.

Wow, 2 days later and I am still savoring the taste of beating the Golden Boys on their turf without CP3 and Gordon. The sweet taste of victory has lasted longer than a whole pack of Juicy Fruit. Imagine how much fun our home town boys Green and House had contributing to the slam, jam, spanked you man defeat of the Golden Boys in front of their fans.

 

I'm just stunned and delighted as everyone else. I did look at Durant's overall game more carefully. Capela did great by blocking his powerful drive, but he didn't shrink. He kept on playing aggressively. I think we need a long 4/3 ideally to slow him down. Otto Porter would be a solid piece, if it wasn't due to his huge contract. Morey needs to try and get someone healthy to play like Luc.

The non call on Durant was terrible though, although it may have looked different from another angle.
