Oh boy. Just when you thought you are rid of Juugie forever, you get somebody like artificial. On top of that, edc also decided to pop up again. Oh well, at least they are consistent. You can always expect them to show up when the Rockets have a bad game.

I dont understand how the game could have been so low scoring. I'm glad I missed the game, I'm sure my eyes would have been bleeding. I hope to see some offense today

MRI is going to happen today. Rasho's elbow locking technique is very similar to technique boxers use to break another person's arm. KGB probably taught him well. The Chinese military needs to teach Yao some of this stuff.

Wasn't this the argument for almost all of last season? We all know, or want to believe, that Yao is the next best thing. But I am starting to wonder how much of his production is due in part to JVG offensive schemes, or lack there of.

I think it's funny that the league is wanting to enforce ticky tack calls to raise scoring, but is turning a blind eye to mauling people in the post and the effect of zone defenses.

I think Shaq forced defenders to body up a lot, and eventually the officials allowed a LOT of physical contact to occur. With Yao, defenders have stated repeatedly that the method they prefer is to push him on the block and force physical play. Officials have not responded with calls, and so Yao just gets reamed for it.

Yao and the Rockets should consider calling the league out on this IMHO.

I was looking at the boxscore.
Rockets free throw 4/9, only Yao and T-mac went to the line.
Spurs 22/28 , almost everyone got the FT.

    Are Rockets really mm+garbage?

im still wondering why our players won't dunk the ball instead of trying to lay it in when they are already above the rim

Nesterovic and Masstenburg were both pushing in the 1st half -which ended with them each having 3 fouls. The technique is refinded by pushing Yao off balance before a rebound - or while he is making a move with his back to the basket.

What's weird is that Yao rarely if ever confronts the guilty party.

Denver is even more physical - let's see how Yao handles it tonight.
