You're right. I click on the link but it doesn't work. Go to page 2 of this thread and search for the user m_cable. That link works. I just check it.

They are shooting all over the place. Only problem they are missing a lot more shots then i expected. They are both Bricking all over the place and not to mention Yao can't stay on his feet...the guy is falling down all over the place.

Not a great line for McGrady tonight

    15pts 6/22 shooting 1/5 from the line.....

    He has had better days.

I saw him take 3 shots....he made all of them. of course i was working so he might have taken more

    He took a 3 pointer - swish
very next play steal by McGray and he ran with him and got a layup.
Next shot he did a fake on Barry and waited till barry came down and took about a 15 footer - swish

Not sure if he took any other shots....i believe he played about 10 minutes or so since the box scores are not working right there is no info to this point.

I know the game just ended, but can anyone give a good recap?

From what I saw in the chat, it looks like both Yao/TMac had bad games. And we are having scoring problems again, 10points in the 1st quarter?

Were we playing for real like JVG said we would?

Just a FYI: Francis-22points, Cat-19points, in a Orlando win over Miami.

The refs were really inconsistent tonight. Yao would be getting mauled while trying to get position, or pulled to the floor when he tries to rebound. Then, when he is fighting for post position, they just call a random foul on him out of nowhere.

Yao's intensity was much higher tonight. Really went after the rebounds, and played really good help defense. Must have had at least 3 blocks. On offense, there is no reason why he shouldn't touch the ball on every play. He either scores easily or finds a wide open man every time. The whole team needs to get better at feeding him. Mo threw one of the worst entrance bounce passes in history, and it was easily stolen by Manu.

Tmac basically missed a lot of easy shots, and also forced a few as well. The whole team struggled to make layups.

Ward showed some signs of life. Took some charges, got some steals, hit some 3's.

Overall, i'm getting the feeling that we have too many players that like to go one on one. JJ tries it every once in a while, as does Howard. Tmac and Yao did not really connect tonight. At least the defense looked pretty good in spurts. Tmac used his length well in order to get some steals.

Don't want to jump the gun, but it seems like we are still having trouble scoring under JVG.

I know its preseason, and I know TMac had a bad shooting night. But don't forget the JVG curse.

JJ is done IMHO. He is becoming so much slower. I don't think there's much left in him.

Seems like we couldn't get any spacing on the offensive side of the court. That SA zone defense was killing us. They were really sagging down low and making it hard for us to get the ball into the post which is our bread and butter.

When is the NBA going to learn that people don't want to see 85-80 games. LOSE THE ZONE! Allowing it was a horrible idea from the get-go.

On ESPN it said that Yao had an elbow injury in the first quarter but was treated and returned to the game.

Yao was 5-7 from the field, 3-4 from the line and 11 rebounds I think.

    -G'day-
