WHOA WHOA hold it there...isnt he signed to a 2 year contract??? im pretty sure ishmael smith wont even be in the rotation for a playoff nba team. those 3 or 4 year contracts are normally guaranteed.

ishmael is awesome though. however wats all this trade brooks/lowry talk??? smith is not good enough to play in the nba just yet.

    I love Ishmael tho!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gotta feel bad for Harris, he is never gonna get a guaranteed contract from the Rockets

I didn't mean to imply that Lowry is anyway inferior than Smith. We need him,but if he gets hurt,Brooks will be left alone. I would prefer a 3rd center instead, but Dampier may sign elsewhere,he might grumble on the pine when Brad spells Yao. Ish is unproven, but I feel he will work hard, and provide us some insurance against injury.

    Rant.
Jermaine won't play 2mrrw Rick is a dick. He hates him IMO

Jermaine lead the SL team in scoring, made the all summer league tourney team, it's his second year in the league. His first presaon game 5 mins 5 points and yet Rick still sits his A on the bench. I hope he gets traded to somewhere where be can play

Agreed. And if Ish Smith continues to improve, that gives us even more flexibility in trade talks.

Ishmael looks more like a hybrid of Rondo and Nash.

Rondo's weakness and Nash's strength.
I'm extremely glad he's not a shoot-first player like Rafer was. Rafer would brick like there's no tomorrow.

I definitely didn't know he had it in him to produce like he did tonight. I'm excited about his potential. If he can develop even a decent outside shot he could have a long career in the NBA. I can't believe Morey continues to find these 2nd round and undrafted gems.
