True,we need a 3rd PG. I would ideally like a 3rd center, but Chuck,Jeffries and Hill/Scola will have to do that job via committee.

Smith is good reminds me of Rondo when he first entered the league did not hear much about him then all the sudden payed his way to being a solid player at both ends. Both cant shoot remember Rondo could not shoot to well, but Smith is similar to Rondo as he developes a jump shot can do everything else very good.

 

I wonder how many knee-jerk threads there will be this week proclaiming Ish as the messiah. I say at least 10.

 

It might also make it easier to deal Brooks where previously he may not have been made available.

Based on one game, I highly doubt it. However, I think Morey wishes he would of signed Smith to one of those 4 year contracts (3rd and 4th years TO).

3rd C, yes, because both Yao and Brad Miller could give (knock on wood) at any time.

Brooks is ironman-ish, and Lowry is as well, considering all the "Bull in a China Shop" scenarios he finds himself in.

Ish Smith is good, but until he plays against legit competition in the regular season, against GOOD teams, I would still start the proven Lowry over the unproven Smith.

 

Lots of nice things today,our defense was better overall and we maintained a fast pace on offense too. Yao looked good and happy on offense,he can still score in the paint and wasn't clogging up anything.
Don't take him and the Chuckwagon for granted. I hope Brad Miller and Lowry will get better quickly.
