    Minny is taking some BAD shots... which are a product of our defense... but they were making those shots in the first half.

    Also, the refs are allowing the game to be pretty physical... so that's affecting the shooting as well.

    Finally, every basket we make without Yao on the court is GRAVY!

    We picked him up after we cut Barry. He's basically Moochie's replacement, since Luther is not a real PG.

    Stro MUST be the primary beneficiary of those minutes playing alongside Yao at the PF position.

    JVG is a freakin' knucklehead for refusing to give this guy a fair chance and shot to prove himself. I have seen nothing but good things from him in a string of games in a row now. He's excellent role player alongside Yao Ming.

    We want Stro! We want Stro!


    P.S.: What's up with our FT shooting all season-long? We seem to miss too many in games we can least afford to.

    Wow... the Rockets are playing KG like every good defensive team attempts to play Yao.... except they're doing it BETTER than those teams.

    I bet JVG could design a KILLER defensive scheme to defend Yao... which is probably as good a reason as any to not want him to go to another team (cause then the scouting report would get shared... just like Hubie's defense did).

    These missed free throws are making me nervous. I hope they don't come back to haunt us.
    Incidentally, when Yao comes back in...we'll see how much respect he's earned from the referees. Before his injury, they wouldn't hestitate to foul him out.

    I highly doubt the level Yao's playing right now, there's any scheme to stop him unless he put all 5 guys on Yao. Just combination of size and skill, it's amazing to watch.

    Juwannaman with a bricked 5-footer with no one around him :eek:

    Brunson with some nice passing, obviously that's his strength as a player.

    Stro bailing out Head once more...boy, what happend to Luther? He's been in what seems like a two-month long slump where he can't do anything right, exhibiting horrible decision-making skills, and all the while losing his touch on his shot...I mean, it's that sweet-looking shot of his that he made consistently early in the season is just poof! Gone!
